Lucien POV

"Yes ,so does that mean my mate is the Destiny child?",I asked with a complicated expression. One thing I know about her was she was the deliver of worlds but being my mate is something else.

"I guess so but I will need to go down with you and verify for my self .If she is indeed the chooses and prophesied saviour",Tharros said looking for a book .

"How can you actually prove that?",I asked .

"Well I might need a Rose petal from the moon rose in your secret tower ,my friend",he dropped another bombshell at me.

"No,no,no.That rose is very powerful. Do you know what a single petal might do to me and my people if found in the wrong hands? No you better find another way ,I won't be releasing the petal",I said walking around the cave.

"Well there is another ,cutting her in several places. So you choose",he threatened and I growled at him my eyes turning from their usual bright red to ten levels darker.

"You better not lay a claw at her you hear me,Tharros",I said shaking vibrantly with anger.

I had two options, but using the petal seemed far preferable to making her bleed.

I raised my hands, and my fingers began to weave intricate patterns in the air. The moonlight around me seemed to respond, swirling and coalescing into a shimmering aura. I whispered the words of an ancient incantation, one that I had long ago committed to memory.

"Astra, mea, secreta, revelare"

The air seemed to vibrate with the power of the spell, and I felt a subtle hum of magic coursing through my veins. Suddenly, the ground beneath my feet began to shimmer, and a faint glow emanated from the earth.

With a soft whisper, the glow coalesced into a delicate, rose-petal-like shape. The moon rose, a powerful and ancient artifact, materialized in my hands. Its gentle glow illuminated my face, and I felt a surge of energy and connection to the lunar forces.

The moon rose, imbued with the essence of the night, seemed to pulse with an otherworldly power. I felt its energy coursing through me, attuning me to the subtle vibrations of the universe.

I plucked out the petal and wanted and repeated the chanting and it was magically concealed again.

"Here you are",I said as I gave him the petal.

"Good choice now let's go and meet this mate of yours",Tharro said as he transformed himself into a huge dragon .I jumped ontop of him and together we flew down from the mountains down to my Palace.

When we arrived the castle was quite and it seemed like everyone had returned to their sleep.I had a premonition to go and check out on my mate but Tharros stopped me.

"Let them rest ,we will see them tommorrow ",he said and returned to the familiar guestroom which I have always reserved for him when he used to visit.

"Goodnight ",he added and I nodded at him my mind occupied by the sweet scent of my mate which was lingering around the castle. Then I went back to my room and surprisingly today I had a peaceful night.

Kiran Moonwhisper POV

"Alpha word has spread that Lord Lucien is housing three witches in his castle ",Ryder my Beta reported in the mind link.

"Okay then prepare tommorrow we will visit the old blood sucker regarding this issue",I responded and cut the mind link.

I looked besides me and started kissing Akira who responded with the same rhythm as mine but something inside me made me stop .

"Get out",I said and then I realised it was my wolf speaking.Akira knew how detrimental it was to argue with Kaelos,so she picked up her clothes and scurried away.

'Buddy whats wrong disturbing me from having a good time.Look now I have a boner',I confronted him in my consciousness.

'Kiran I can feel her close',he replied again speaking in husband riddles.

'Who ?,enough with your riddles okay',I questioned and expressed how this attribute of his always frustrate me.

'My mate. She is far but am surprised I can feel her',he said.

Wow this is new.I only know that one can only feel his mate who they are upclose not this.I have long given up searching for a mate long time ago.Every mating season I attended the ceremonies but never found her.I even visited all the last nearby packs but did not find her.Maybe she is trapped on the other division where Maledicta rules.

Just thinking about Maledicta sent shivers down my spine and great anger jolted in my veins.I hate witches, during the wars with them I lost my parents and the pressure of the pack was rested on my shoulders. They took my family so from the always everyone in the other side of the division like us had for.ed a pact that whoever finds a witch, they must be killed ,so tommorrow I have to visit the old man Lucien and learn why he decided to let them live ,my spy even said they were treated as his guests.

The next morning I woke up and found my small group of guards ready to travel with me.

"Morning Alpha, what are your orders today",Ryder said.

"Today we are not going to a war .Behave ,no fights with those bloodsucking today. We are just visitors",I emphasised.Werewolves and vampires ,we have been on odd terms ever since the Great Betrayal and the War of the Moon so every time we crossedpaths we always fought.

I hopped into my car and we drove towards his Palace. When we arrived at the border to his pack the vampires on patrol rushed towards us.

"We are not here to pick a fight not today. We just came to visit your king",I said and we waited as one dashed in lighting speed towards the Palace.

Soon they returned in the company of Sabine his most trusted Beta ,she was beautiful with blonde hair.I always fantasised having her crying for mercy as I took her in several positions.

'Step out of it'Kaelos said .

'I will lock you up if you continue to disrupt me any further ',I warned him and he seems to quite down.

We arrived at the Palace and Sabine then turned in my direction and said "The king will see you in his study room",she said and left.

I was guided by some maids to the study and I passed through and saw two witches knitting in the kitchen being served by the maids.

"What brings you four legged creature to my palace",Lucien said as soon as I stepped foot in the study.

"Just wondering what you are doing with emancipated women in your castle since you like the type from a century ago",I retorted.

"Kiran Moonwhisper",a voice said and I turned and saw Tharros the old dragon.

"Dragon what brought you down from your sage haven",I said.

" Nice to see you too", he replied.

As i entered, l noticed a woman sitting in front of others, previously hidden from the view by a bookshelf. She was delicate, with soft features and she had long black hair. She looked magnificent. As I was looking towards her more I picked her scent which was a hint of lavender, vanilla and French rose.Just then I felt Kaelos fighting for control and ever since he overpowered me.

I watched at the back as Kaelos gazed at her. What the other two people where saying in my direction became faint and they slowly faded leaving the two of us in my gaze.Maube she noticed how I had kept looking at her for a long time and she lifted her shiny eyes towards me.With my heightened wolf sight I could see my reflection in her pupils.

A jolt of electricity shot through me,followed by a primal urge to claim, protect, and cherish her.Was this how it felt to have a mate?I sensed her heartbeat, and mine synchronised with hers.

"MATE ",Kaelos growled and everyone in the room looked at me with confusions their eyes. Tension filled the air .

  • BLOOD AND MOONLIGHT   The Final Dawn

The horizon burned with fractured light, a jagged skyline of shattered cities and broken mountains. The Blood Moon had faded, leaving only the smoldering remnants of a world that had teetered on the brink of annihilation. But the echoes of chaos still lingered, twisting the wind and turning the air heavy with tension. Emily staggered forward, every step a struggle against exhaustion and the lingering pull of the Abyss that still tried to claw its way back into her soul.Beside her, Kiran’s wolf form snarled, fur bristling, eyes sharp with focus despite the exhaustion that dragged at him. Lucien moved with precise grace, sword glowing faintly, yet his every motion bore the weight of centuries, the burden of immortality he was preparing to relinquish. Together, they formed a triangle of strength, a fragile yet unbreakable bond that tethered Emily to the world she had fought so desperately to save. Before them, Lena hovered, her body radiating a power so vast it seemed to fracture realit

  • BLOOD AND MOONLIGHT   The Echo of Eternity

The world shivered beneath the weight of chaos. The sky burned a sickly crimson as the Abyss clawed at reality, distorting cities into molten fragments and twisting the air into jagged, tearing winds. Emily stumbled through the devastation, her heart pounding, her hands shaking with energy she could barely control. Every pulse of her power threatened to fracture the very ground beneath her feet, yet somehow, she held on to herself. The voice of the Abyss had faded, replaced by a quieter, insistent echo of her own will. I am not yours. I am not a tool. I am Emily. For the first time in what felt like centuries, clarity struck her. The God of the Abyss had been manipulating everyone, every war, every choice, every soul it had planned for her to become its vessel, to tear apart the world and remake it in darkness. But she refused. She could feel the threads of her own power unraveling and recoiling, snapping at the edges of the Abyss’s hold. It was dangerous terrifyingly so but it was he

  • BLOOD AND MOONLIGHT   A Betrayal of Souls

The Abyss pulsed around them like a living heartbeat, black tendrils curling and snapping at Kiran and Lucien, seeking cracks in their resolve. Every step forward was met with a whisper soft, insidious, like someone leaning into their minds and feeding on their fears. The air itself smelled of despair, thick and metallic, burning at their lungs with every breath.Kiran’s claws dug into the jagged ground, his eyes scanning for any sign of Emily, but the deeper they went, the more he realized something terrifying: the Abyss wasn’t just a place it was alive. Watching. Waiting. Manipulating. Every shadow, every illusion, every fleeting memory of Emily was carefully placed to lure them into its snare.“Something’s wrong,” Kiran muttered, voice low. “This isn’t just Lena or the Celestials… it’s” He stopped, eyes widening as a cold, resonating laugh echoed through the void. The laughter seemed to seep into his bones, rattling his senses.“the Abyss itself,” Lucien finished, his tone grim. “I

  • BLOOD AND MOONLIGHT   The Veil Unraveled

The air was thick with a darkness that clawed at Kiran and Lucien’s minds the moment they stepped closer to the Abyss. Shadows slithered along the cracked ground, whispering doubts, murmurs of fear, and promises of despair. The world behind them had become unrecognizable a fractured wasteland, the sky a swirling canvas of red and black. Cities had vanished, forests rotted into ash, and rivers ran with a shimmering black fluid that burned at the soul.“We have to keep moving,” Kiran said, his voice tight as he stepped over a fissure that emitted a cold, unnatural wind. “Every second we waste, Lena gets closer to finishing the ritual. Every second, she drags the world further into the Void.”Lucien’s wings stretched instinctively as he scanned the horizon. “And we have no way of knowing who we can trust anymore. The spirit guide warned us about betrayal but I didn’t think… I didn’t think it would feel this… personal.” His hand tightened around the hilt of his blade, eyes flashing with d

  • BLOOD AND MOONLIGHT   The Heart of Darkness

The world had gone silent. At least, it felt that way. The skies were fractured, a dull crimson haze lingering over the battlefield where cities had once stood. Mountains had split, rivers ran black with corrupted energy, and even the wind seemed to mourn. Emily… she was gone.Kiran’s hands shook as he knelt over the crater where she had fallen, staring at the faint glow of the Abyss still pulsing where her body had vanished. “She… she’s gone,” he whispered, voice breaking. The word tasted like ash in his mouth.“No,” Lucien growled beside him, wings tensing as he scanned the horizon. “Not gone. She’s… trapped. Somewhere between this world and that… that void.” His voice faltered, but there was a spark in his eyes fury, yes, but also determination. “We’re not losing her, Kiran. Not like this.”The air around them shimmered, charged with residual Abyssal energy. The ground quivered with power, as though the world itself was protesting her absence. Shadows stretched unnaturally long, an

  • BLOOD AND MOONLIGHT    The Last Eclipse

The Blood Moon hung low, a red sentinel over a world trembling on the edge of annihilation. Shadows and light danced violently across the ruins of the battlefield, cities crumbling into nothingness as time itself fractured. I could feel the Abyss inside me, alive and pulsing, trying to overwrite everything every memory, every heartbeat, every choice I had ever made.“Emily!” Kiran’s voice cut through the chaos, full of desperation and raw fear. I saw him moving toward me, claws scraping against the cracked earth, eyes burning with determination. Behind him, Lucien’s wings flared wide, casting silver shadows across the scarlet sky. Both of them had come together, setting aside every feud, every distrust, every fear. For me. For the world. But the Abyss wasn’t listening. It roared within me, pulling at my soul, urging me to surrender, to rule, to consume. The markings along my arms throbbed with black fire, spreading rapidly as though claiming my body as its own. I tried to push back, t
