Lady Cecile gazed at the parchment of flesh as if gawking at it would make the message appear any faster.

She kept staring at it as her heart was throbbing in her chest.

What was this feeling?

Excitement?

To think that she would get another chance to come after alpha Michael so soon after the last one failed was unthinkable.

According to Damon, the Bane Serpent had spread its plague to the neighboring towns and the Luna was going herself to oversee the treating and curing of those affected packs.

First of all, the Bane serpent was more powerful than Lady Cecile had anticipated, she did not think that even in its death, it would do something such as spread its disease, this must all be thanks to the grudge that Gianni had against the wolves that carried into the spell.
