CHAPTER FIFTY
****ONE MONTH LATER*****
Ludo, Lance, Kate and Walutanga came out of the Magistrate court excited. They had managed to put the criminals behind bars. Naveen was sentenced to forty years imprisonment. Ben cooperated by being an informant and his sentence was reduced to 10 years. Grace was put in a mental hospital. After Mapulanga died, she somehow went crazy.
“Ludo!” Melanie shouted at Ludo.
Ludo went over to where Melanie was. She was with her husband and son. “Hey beautiful family,” said Ludo.
“Congratulations to you Ludo” Melanie’s husband said.
“Thanks Norton and thank you Melanie,” she hugged her. “You really helped us clear Hunter's name.”
“No problem dear. Where is he by the way?” Melanie asked. “He never came to trial. Not even a single day. The moment he was released after that arrest, he went AWOL.” she said.
“That’s Hunter for you,” Ludo replied with a smirk.
“Anyways, We are going now.” Melanie

She looked at the figures in front of her but the moment she sat down, she stopped hearing their voices but could only see their heads move. There was a blood stained knife on the table. She felt something move behind her. She wanted to shout but couldn’t. One of the figures in front of her stood up and started walking to her. She felt something hairy on her shoulder. Her body was filled with goosebumps. She slowly moved her head to check it out and it was a tail. The figure coming towards her and picked the knife from the table.
