19: Debutant

Random muffled voices registered in my ears. My eyelids were still heavy, but I forced them to open. The pain slowly crawling in my whole body as I was trying to lift it up towards the headboard.

My eyes landed on my right when someone moved. A smile formed in my lips when I saw how cute Vico was while sleeping. He looked so tired and haven't slept the whole night.

"Oh, you're awake." An unfamiliar voice said from my right.

I turned my head to her and smiled when it was a nurse, "I just woke up."

"How are you? Do you still feel some pain in your body?" she checked-up while fixing my IV.

She smiled and write down something. She peeked at Vico that was still sleeping near my thighs.
