The smell just got stronger and stronger, oh dear goddess, she

  must be quite close.

For heaven’s sake, why was fate playing this cruel game with me?

Luca was chanting “Mate! Mate! Mate!” like a holy mantra, and I

could feel his excitement just by smelling her. For the first time, I

really wished he would just shut up. We agreed on almost

everything, except that I didn’t want her.

“Beta!” We all took our seats as the waiter took our orders.

Lance, my beta, stood up and bowed politely, followed by Gabe,

my delta, who did the same but had a corny, broad smile on his

  face. I nodded in acknowledgment.

Since the blood moon was due to rise in ninety-three days, and I

was running out of time, Lance presented me with some

paperwork and contracts that were in dire need of my signature.

I had been spending a lot of time these past few days trying to

find a way out of the curse placed upon our pack, but I kept

coming up empty-handed. Then, the door chimed open, and I

saw her enter, her footsteps resounding throughout the room.

Don’t even get me started on her eyes; she had the most stunning

electric blue eyes I had ever seen, paired with the most flawless

lips I had ever seen. Her long, dirty blond hair reached her waist, which she instantly brushed back from her face as soon as she

  walked in.

“Hey, Mate! I didn’t tell them about her appearance yesterday,

but I couldn’t stop Luca from saying the phrase, which caused

Lance and Gabe to freeze in complete amazement and shock.

“What the fuck Luca?” was the first thing I said, and the moment

it left my mouth, I hated it.

“Alpha-” Lance turned back to face my friend, who was decked

up in a white off-the-shoulder crop top and blue trousers that

  hugged all of her curves.

As I rolled my eyes at the monster, I heard Luca say, “Our mate is

really hot.” I had to admit, he was right; she was truly beautiful in

the eyes, unlike many others I had seen. Her beauty was genuine

  and unforced.

“Is that Luna? With a narrowed glance, as though attempting to

  read my mind, Lance questioned.

Laughing like a fool, Gabe added, “Judging by the bad scowl

brother has on his face it has got to be my sister in law, Cease talking!” Sister in law? What a joke,” I scream low to get

rid of that foolish smile from his face.

Lance says, “You should go and talk to her Alpha, Celeste claims

that she is the pack’s last hope.” They both understand how much

I loathed the thought of meeting my mate for the first time; I

  didn’t need or want her.

Luca whispered to me, “But your pack does.” It was so mocking

that I wished there was a small off button to stop him from

talking so loudly. The fuck, he was slowly pushing me over the

  brink into madness.

I mentally snapped, ‘Shut the hell up,’ but he was right. According

to Celeste, the pack’s witch,’she would be the pack’s salvation

from the curse that plagued us for centuries, or she would be our

destruction splattered with our own blood.’ It was a real dicey

prophecy, and I didn’t want to take a chance on finding out, as

the pack had just begun to move on from the tragedy that had

occurred previously. I can’t put them through another one, so it’s

  my responsibility.

I heard Luca hiss, “What are you going to do now? What are you

going to do? Stupid wolf. I had a plan—” He was clearly enjoying

  watching me suffer.

My plan was a temporary fix, or a way to buy time, but it still

involved avoiding my mate wherever she was. However, now

that she was in front of me, unavoidable, that plan was quickly

crumbling under Luca’s sardonic interruption, “More like a

dumb temporary fix. Really Alpha? Was that the best plan you

 could come up with?”

“I’ll speak with her. In due course. But for now, I just need some

time to think,” I said as I watched her purchase a simple cup of

black coffee to go. Our eyes briefly crossed before she swiftly

glanced away, and I did the same. I got up and headed to my car

since I wanted some time to gather my thoughts before deciding

 what to do next.

Luca said indignantly, “Sounds like you are just running away,

 again.”

I silently shot back at him, “I don’t run away from anyone or

anything,” as I made my way to my car.

“Luca insisted that destiny would always bring our mate closer to

us—it’s inevitable! It’s Fate!” I chose to ignore him, telling myself

that fate would take care of itself.

The delightfully unexpected came just as I was getting into my

car and remembered I had left my iPhone at the café. This mate

thing was really starting to get on my nerves. Guess I’m heading

 right back in.

Indeed. I smile and respond, “I am now.” I was at last at home, where I belonged. As he brought me to a table where Aunt Maggie, Diego, Mom, and the rest of the family sat, he said, “Let’s go and join our family, this is where you belong, Isabella.” They all gave me warm smiles and invited me to join them. I join them at the table and respond, “Okay, let’s go.” Here, with my family, was where I belonged. “YES ISABELLA… KEEP ON DREAMING… YOU ARE HOME NOW—-” The final Elder was still asleep when I entered his room and stabbed him in the heart with a silver sword. He was so perplexed and unable to comprehend why I was do ing this to him that his eyes widened as he gazed in amazement at the face of Isabella the Luna of the Blood Moon pack. “What a miserable old wolf! I said to him carefully, “Don’t be so confused, your sacrifice is for the greater cause.” With a sly smile on my lips, I drove the knife deeper into his heart, and he sucked in his final breath with a feeble moan, which gave

This was pleasant. I felt calm. I gradually give in to the Darkness with each breath.I could feel the darkness within me rise to the surface as midnight descended even further, taking up everything I could see and making the air feel deadly calm. My gaze shifted to the opposite side of the bed, where the lycan king was still asleep. The notion of him being so exposed to me now made me smile nefariously. You could hear the cheers and the mirth from the celebration going on downstairs. They were smiling, laughing, and generally happy. If only they realized that I was going to put an end to their happiness so quickly. Silently, so as not to wake the lycan, I got out of bed and walked across to the window frame, nude, and gazed out into the night, feeling a sense of oneness with it, for the sky had been overtaken by darkness. The darkness had a lovely appearance. ‘Kill a demon today, face the devil tomorrow’ is a phrase that circulates around the Santacruz family. But even as we dance on t

He walks into the room, leans against the wall, his shirt buttons a little loose, and his suit and bow tie off. “You know It is really rude to leave your own party.” I said. He approached me, paused a few inches from me, and gazed at me, taking in every ounce of my being. “The Alphas can take care of themselves.” “I know something is off because of the peculiar way you’ve been acting, Isabelle. What has been bothering you, please? With his eyes searching mine for the truth, he asked.“Dimitri I’m fine, there’s nothing bothering me.” I stumbled because I had lied, and I groaned at my own incapacity to lie. “I’m your mate , your friend. I am aware of when you are bothered by something. I am able to tell when you are afraid of something. I tip my chin to gaze at him. “Your problems are mine, so enough with the secrets, it isn’t helping,” he adds. I was stuck and unsure of what to do. I contemplated for a moment before letting out a heavy sigh: should I just tell him about my vision? I ans

  • BLOOD MOON:Wolf Pack Trilogy   Chapter 141

Isabella’s POV The evening arrived far too soon, and I was all decked out in exquisite gowns for Dimitri’s coronation. I must admit that Dimitri had good taste because I was wearing a scarlet red dress that he had specially chosen. It was an immaculate long gown with a side slit that reached the thighs. I loved how it clung to my skin, highlighting all of my curves and revealing just the right amount of cleavage. I could see that Dimitri had given it careful consideration. The ascension ceremony had already started, and it was already time. Everything was already in its proper place, with quiet music being performed by gentle bands and the guests mingling and chatting. Tingles danced across my skin, and I was immediately surrounded by warmth. It was my friend. His feathery, sweet kisses trailed down my neck, and as his arms tightened around my waist, I bit my bottom lip to contain the groan that threatened to burst out of my mouth.I turned my head to face his beautiful face and said i

I thought that it would be a wonderful and romantic chance. “Why not? You two obviously like each other, so go for it. You can tell him tonight at the coronation during the fireworks.” At last, Gemini said, “Okay, I’ll do it!” instead. Take a look at me as the doctor of love. I had become so fond of the word ‘love’ that it was unexpected. Before I met my partner, Dimitri, a year ago, I didn’t even think the concept of love existed. I now see how mistaken I was; love was real and more powerful than any magic I had ever seen.We physically demonstrated that love genuinely triumphs over all obstacles, and I still find it hard to comprehend how many storms we were able to overcome with our love. All I can hope for is that our love will triumph over everything. I was most frightened by the image because of this. The premonition I had, I had to admit, scared me and kept me awake all night. The idea of me murdering Dimitri scared me more than anything I had ever experienced in my life. I hop

The other man with the long brown hair lowered his head and said, “I am Alpha Dorian, of the mystic pack.” The third Alpha started to say, “I am Alpha Tunde, of the ilé ifé pack—-” but Dimitri interrupted. Dimitri snarled authoritatively, his crimson eyes blazing dangerously. “I know who you all are. The question was what the bloody hell do you want?!” he said. “Supreme Lycan Alpha!” Mathias yelled, lowering himself to his knees in front of Dimitri before kneeling. He was followed by the other two Alphas, who both referred to Dimitri as Supreme Alpha. They were sending conflicting messages here, first invading our pack’s area and then submitting. “We came to ask for you, the last lycan Blood to ascend as Supreme Alpha King of the wolves. Ever since Valor’s death and with his crime and betrayal against the royal lycan family exposed. The wolves need a Supreme ruler, you are the last existing royal lycan blood, please we await your rightful ascension to the throne as King of the Wolves.
