None of them could remember the order with which they left Alex’s room but all they could recall was all getting into Carol’s car and in no time, getting to the hospital. Alex sat on the floor in the living room, knees drawn close towards him, lost in thought.He had remained in that position ever since he dialed the number he found in his dad's most recent call log which had a colleague of his dad arrive in a few minutes alongside an emergency van and several other staffs of the hospital.He felt an unexplainable pain in his chest as he watched them wheel his dad's lifeless body away. "Are you cold?" Alex knew exactly what his aunt meant. It was his first day at school and he was dressed in dark jeans and a dark colored oversized hoodie that literally covered half of his face. As if the hoodie hadn't done enough covering, he had a face cap on, totally covering his face.
