Aria's POV

It wasn't easy to completely let go of the pain, but it'll be more difficult if I'd nourish it within. I'm gradually working on releasing myself from past suffering, failure, and resentment, because only then will I be able to heal my inner wound.

I resolved not to be uptight with the siblings. I tried to open my heart from the moment I settled to bury my anger with them. But, unlike in the past, I am becoming wiser. They will not be treated without reservation. Their sincerity will be put to the test as they go through needle and thread.

"A meeting at three," Nicholas announced. "I'll take Aria with me."

I had filled my empty seat. No one had taken over my position as Luna of the Pack. Most Alphas would have sought another she-wolf to stand in for Luna, but he didn't. Nicholas, according to Matthew, loves me. I don't want to speculate, but perhaps he didn't find another because he had hang ups for us.
