Chapter 7

Blaze Astaroth

He yawns as he awaits Orpheus to speak up.

"Who are you? You impostor!!!" Orpheus snarled as he stormed inside Dawn's room in so much anger.

His eyes were burning with flame and his demon was purely visible, making his aura completely dark.

"Welcome back sir!!" The male figure stood up from where he was seated as he turned back to look the shock that would overwhelm Orpheus' face.

"Blaze??" Orpheus gasped out in shock as he locked gaze with Blaze who had this blunt expression on his face.

"Yes sir!!" He mumbled.

"Who are you??" His voice died down as his eyes grew more red in anger and confusion. "How long have you known who I am and who sent you to me??" He queried as he held the lamp holder more firm this time around.

****

Blaze Ciaran Astaroth, the last descendant of the Astaroth's lineage.

He was a transcendent vampire and an orphan. He was 35 years and was schooled under Lawst Bathory, the uncle of Orpheus. His family had died while defending the coven from external forces.

He was called Ciaran because he was loved by magic.

"Show your true self I urge you!!" Orpheus growled as he held firmly the lamp holder.

He flicks his fingers which were now long and a little bit brownish in colour. "You've grown so weak ever since you dwelled here in the human world." Blaze scoffed as he walked closer to Orpheus who was still fuming with so much rage.

Blaze had transformed to his original demonic form as he wore this broad smile. He had raised his head up to catch a glance of Orpheus who was in utter dismay.

"Ciaran!!" Orpheus gasped as he let go the lamp holder.

"Yes!! Ciaran." He chuckled lightly. "Your father couldn't send you just alone. So he sent me to watch over Dawn in case you get carried away by your mission." He mumbled as he transformed back to his human form.

They both grew up together in the Lethal bloodsuckers coven before Blaze was sent to regional secret house here in Los Angeles to support Mr. Red.

There friendship grew the more when he had fallen in love with Darcia, Blaze's sister.

She had died during one of the attacks by the hunters. He grew more cold after losing the love of his life.

"How long did you plan hiding this from me Ciaran??" He gasped. "Did you even know my mission here on earth has been really frustrating." He cursed as he walked passed him to Dawn's bed.

He sat down next to her as he rubbed her hair, arranging it neatly. "She definitely must be going through a lot over there." He brought out his handkerchief as he cleaned the sweat that had formed bulb like shape.

"Yeah, for the first time ever she saw you fought with those pathetic werewolves." He mumbled.

"They were using black magic." He muttered. "Father will be coming over tomorrow to check up on his little princess." He snapped as he pecked her forehead before standing up.

"Above everything, you must not tell him you know who I am." Blaze pleaded as he wore a broad smile.

"As you wish." He chuckled. "First thing first, let's go merry that finally fate reunites us together after years of separation." He mumbled as he walked passed Blaze, winking an eye.

"Yeah, some chilled vodka would do for the reunion." Blaze chuckled as he locked Orpheus in his arms as they both exited Dawn's room.

Dawn Bathory.

{Yawns}

"Wakie wakie, I'm set to go!!" She jumped on Orpheus from behind.

"Yesterday was really frustrating. By the way some matters came up in the coven which required father's attention." He snapped.

"So which means I'm free today??" She asked.

"Yeah you are!" Orpheus snorted. He was completely tired as his eyes were still red. He had drank to stupor yesterday.

"Hurray!!" She jumped up as she let go of Orpheus. "So.." She smiled broadly as she walked across to look at his face.

"Not today Dawn!" He yelped.

She pouted her lips as she kept those baby eyes of hers. "But you have to make it up to me for yesterday."

"Are you insane Dawn??" He scoffed.

"But I just want to go out to check out a Spanish bar, my girls said it's filled with life there." She pleaded.

"Yesterday was a tough one for us. We almost got killed. You ain't meant to live the house again!" He snapped as he turns his face away.

"Come on brother!" She whimpered as she sat down on his bed. "Does that mean that I'm grounded? I hate here." She cursed.

"I've discussed with the school authority, they'll be getting you tutors who would tutor you. There's a lot of money to get their ass paid." He shrugged. "Father wants you to be safe. So no more outing till everything gets settled here. I'm also at risk now since I've been tailed down." He snapped as he covered his face with a blanket.

"But…"

He had interrupted her. "Go Dawn. Big brother wants to rest before he starts his daily boring mission." He scowled.

"Yen yen yen…" she said mockingly. "I'm not going anywhere until you say yes to me. Or I'll call dad and say I want to return back to him." She snapped as she dragged away the blanket from his face pointing her tongue out.

"Dawn! I said you are not going anywhere and that's…"

"Knock, knock" An irregular cold voice mumbled
