CHAPTER TEN

CALEB'S POV

I just stared at the blonde, and she looked at me, confused.

“Are we going to make out?” She asked, and I shook my head in response.

“Fuck off,” I growled and walked out of the restroom.

I am pissed at Ralph for cheating on me, wait! Can I call it cheating? We are just fuck buddies.

I get it. I have been ignoring him for over two days now, but it was not intentional. This had been the longest weekend of my life without him.

I needed time to figure things out, I don't know my sexuality, the majority of my life, I thought I was Straight until Caleb showed up.

“Fuck it,” I cursed under my breath bringing my phone out.

I didn't know if texting Caleb was the right thing to do, but I felt the urge to do it.

I stared at my screen, thinking of what to type and how to type it when I felt someone hit my back.

“What's going on? You look stressed,” Kelvin said, as he swung his bag over his shoulders.

“Just little issues, I am fine,” I lied, dipping my phone into my pants pocket.

“Girl problem?” He asked and I just gave a slight nod.

It sounded funny, because I have never had a girl problem before but right now, I'm having a man's problem, which is crazy.

“When did you start having girl problems?” He scoffed, pushing my shoulder slightly.

“I don't know,” I replied, trying to push off the question.

Kelvin noticed I didn't want to discuss it, and he got angry.

I have been keeping a lot of things from him but that is not my fault, I needed time to understand what is going on before telling him, even if we never keep secrets from each other.

“It isn't an issue Kelvin,” I said and he rolled his eyes again.

“Then tell me, why the fuck are you uptight about it if it isn't an issue,” he asked rudely, walking ahead of me.

I hated seeing him like that, and we are too close and can't end our friendship because of my little obsession with Ralph.

“I think I'm getting to like my Fuck buddy, but I just need time to think about it, so I don't get ahead of myself,” I said, at least this was part of the truth.

Kelvin stared at me blankly, he was supposed to be happy for me, even if he didn't know the truth yet, but right now he looked angrier than pleased.

“I thought you just wanted to have fun with girls, why the fuck are you falling in love?” He growled.

I stood still, stunned, what the fuck is happening?

My best friend is supposed to be excited for me, not angry that I found love before me.

“You are supposed to be excited that I'm not searching for true love anymore, but right now, you are just being jealous and pathetic and I hate this as fuck,” I yelled at him, thinking this would bring him to his senses but it didn't, rather he became more angry.

“You think I'm jealous you found love before me, dude, look around you, none of the girls here would ever be attractive to you, you just want another girl to use and dump, just like you always do,” He snapped and walked off like nothing happened.

Today is going worse than I imagined.

I went to my locker, packed my books in my bag, and went to get ready for training. As the school’s quarterback, I have to be early for training.

When I got to the field, I ran to drop my bag and bumped into someone.

“Shit, I'm sorry,” I apologize, looking up, only to see Ralph glaring at me.

“Just the face I wanted to see” I rolled my eyes and he dragged me into an empty office.

“We need to talk,” he growled.
