Maliya POV

Doctor Brianna gave me printed pictures of the ultrasound, and as I got in the jeep, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by the small circle.

That is a baby, our baby. My heart fluttered as I looked over to Aeron, who was starting the vehicle. His face was paler than usual as he looked over to me. I placed a hand on his arm and slowly moved it down towards his fingers.

He quickly grabbed hold of my hand as he looked over to me,

"Do you want to go food shopping? Or did you want to go home?" He asked.

After our night with Jack and Amanda we went to the shop for food. And after that first time, I realized that grocery shopping, well, it sucked.

The store always seemed to be too ho,t and the food was too pricey. It was as bad as shopping for clothes, Aeron said, not to worry about the price, but I still found myself worrying about the price. I didn't understand human money, I didn't understand why it cost for food.

    Morana's POVLying on the bed, I wiped my nose as Aeron rubbed my stomach, "We fight, we make up. We fight, then we make up." I whispered and closed my eyes, "It is a cycle." I said as I leaned my head against his chest, "Will you please, please let things go back to the way it was?" I asked him. Aeron looked down at me and kissed my forehead."I'm sorry." Aeron whispered, "I was conflicted and so many emotions rushed through me. I didn't mean to take it out on anyone. I just, I just didn't want to get hurt."Slowly, I grabbed his hand and placed it over the twisting pain. A soft sigh fell from my lips as I felt it release, "Well, the baby likes you better then me." I whispered, "So, please stay here with me." I wrapped my arms around his neck as he nodded his head, "Don't leave today, stay."     Maliya POV For a week, Aeron had kept his distance. He spoke to me, but he wouldn't hold me the way he used to. He didn't rub my stomach, which really was irritating since the baby enjoyed his touch.He would only kiss me on my forehead and keep his hands to himself. It was irritating to say the least. I wanted his attention, but I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of asking for it. So, I occupied myself with Tae; her wolf was coming out more freely, and Liya was always up for a run. Aeron didn't join us, which seemed to irritate her.And when we shifted on the fourth day of the week, Liya freaked out and started to jump on Aeron, and then she bit him before storming away. I could only watch as my mate stared at us with wide eyes. Liya was fuming; she was so angry at him that whenever she could, she yelled and hit Aeron that day.     Maliya POV Once we were all dressed, we all went to find food. Tae was comfortable with a frozen pizza, and Aeron and I ate cold sandwiches. With Aeron's approval, Tae went into her room with his laptop, wanting to watch or play something.And with Tae Gone, it was getting hard to control myself around my mate. Ever since we shifted back to our skins, the need for him was something I was having a hard time controlling.My foot softly tapped on the floor as his nose brushed against my neck, his hand falling on my stomach.     Maliya POV After two weeks in bed, I felt like a brand new woman. It took a little time, but once Liya returned, my body was healed. And within 24 hours, I went from being feverish and sick to feeling healthy and energized. Aeron looked at me with wide eyes as I chased Tae down the stairs. I kissed his lips as I rushed to the bathroom. I could still smell the sickness on me as Liya purred in my chest. She was happy to be back, and I was glad she was back as well.Aeron told me I had started to have nightmares, but I couldn't remember anything. My legs weren't numb, the stitches didn't bother me, and I wasn't in pain. Once Aeron took them out, I was going to let Liya out for a run. Aeron watched me as I washed my hair in the shower. I smiled widely towards him. But he only looked at me, confused, "When I get out, can we go for a run?" I asked him."A run?" He asked."Yes," I said and looked at him with wide eyes.     Once I was out of Aeron's sight, I fell to the ground and crawled my way to the table. But I stopped right before my seat and looked up to Tae, who had stopped walking down the stairs and stared at me. Once I pulled myself up on the chair, I pointed a finger towards the staircase, "Don't you-" I said, but she was already walking into the kitchen. Quickly, I pulled myself to sit on the chair as Aeron rushed out of the kitchen and looked at me."Maliya." He scolded, and he stared at me with wide eyes."Don't believe anything she said," I said as I looked at Tae.Somehow, someway, the two of them had bonded, and since I couldn't move, I wasn't as fun as Tae had thought. But, Aeron was. Maybe it was because Aeron had been the one to save her, but she completely took to him after a day of being with him.
