WOLF TIME

Maliya POV

After two weeks in bed, I felt like a brand new woman. It took a little time, but once Liya returned, my body was healed. And within 24 hours, I went from being feverish and sick to feeling healthy and energized. Aeron looked at me with wide eyes as I chased Tae down the stairs. I kissed his lips as I rushed to the bathroom. I could still smell the sickness on me as Liya purred in my chest. She was happy to be back, and I was glad she was back as well.

Aeron told me I had started to have nightmares, but I couldn't remember anything. My legs weren't numb, the stitches didn't bother me, and I wasn't in pain. Once Aeron took them out, I was going to let Liya out for a run. Aeron watched me as I washed my hair in the shower. I smiled widely towards him. But he only looked at me, confused, "When I get out, can we go for a run?" I asked him.

"A run?" He asked.

"Yes," I said and looked at him with wide eyes. Aeron smiled as he nodded.

"We would like that." He said.

    In the middle of the large room sat a group of wolves. Instantly, I spotted my Uncle sitting on a lounge couch. A woman, I'm guessing his mate, was snuggled up to his side. She had on a pair of dress pants and a short, long-sleeve shirt. Her hair was pulled away from her strong facial features. Her bright brown eyes let me know that her wolf was also in control.The other person who sat beside my Uncle was Rick. Both of them were focused on the large screen against the wall.     Maliya POV Aeron got his way as we left the cabin while I still had the aching pulse between my legs.Aeron had fallen asleep once he got to our bare bed, while I stayed up and watched as something ran around the forest. All night I was afraid of falling asleep, so when Aeron woke up, I took a small nap. And when I woke up, I had to hurry to get ready for the meeting with my Uncle. I chose a white flower-printed long-sleeve dress. My bump stuck out in the dress as I let my brown hair fall over my chest.     Maliya POV For a week, Aeron had kept his distance. He spoke to me, but he wouldn't hold me the way he used to. He didn't rub my stomach, which really was irritating since the baby enjoyed his touch.He would only kiss me on my forehead and keep his hands to himself. It was irritating to say the least. I wanted his attention, but I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of asking for it. So, I occupied myself with Tae; her wolf was coming out more freely, and Liya was always up for a run. Aeron didn't join us, which seemed to irritate her.And when we shifted on the fourth day of the week, Liya freaked out and started to jump on Aeron, and then she bit him before storming away.
