LIFE AS A MAID

Ratika saw him with tears in her eyes and gulped down her saliva with fear... she was afraid for herself ... for her family and for her extended family too whom she met a few days back only...

After finishing the lunch somehow... she went to the kitchen and kept all the leftover food in the fridge after putting all the dishes in the sink. She turned to go back to her room... but felt a sting on her cheek ... with the pain, she looked at the monster of her life standing before her with bloodshot red eyes... she started trembling again in fear and tried to take a step back... (note... tried) but felt a sudden pull and with a jerk, she fell directly on his hard wall like chest...

He grabbed her chin and make her look directly into his eyes...

RV: Where were you going ???

RATIKA: t...to...to my room...

RV: (Sarcastically... ) oh... princess got tired too much only after making and enjoying her lunch ...
