CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Kathrine's Pov

I can't stand the cold in this city any longer. I have gone to several places and yet, I can't find her. I think I should have been patient to get every detail from Arnold, but I was too quick that I couldn't hide it.

I haven't spent a week and the environment has not been nice to my body. I got prepared and travelled back home.

"I wasn't expecting you to be back so early. Did you see her?" The questions irritated me.

"Mom, my safety is very important. The cold over there is not treating my body nicely. You know the city is for humans not like dynamic beings like us"

"Kat, I don't understand what you are saying. What do you mean that the environment isn't good for your body but Anna has been there for years"

I looked at my mom with my squeezed face, "Are you comparing me to that weak omega?"

"Kathrine," she sat down close to me, allowing her knees to touch mine. "You know the reason why you went there, why giving me excuses now that the information is at our doorstep?"
