Chapter 61

Charlotte held a cup of coffee, striding to Xavier's office. As she got to the entrance, and strode into his office, the cup slipped from her hands, and dropped to the ground. Charlotte quickly jolted back with a loud scream, Which got Xavier's attention.

He jerked up, and scurried towards her, holding her firmly in his arms while she breathe rapidly, her hands rested on her chest.

Xavier stayed quiet, his hands still wrapped around her, hoping to calm her racing heart. Charlotte felt safe in his embrace, she went ahead, and closed her eyes.

"I'm sorry about that, I will quickly go get another coffee." She spoke up, immediately she felt better, but Xavier did not let her move.

"You don't have to do that, come sit on the couch, I will get you coffee to drink." Xavier guided her to the couch.

He sat her down, and walked out of the office. Two minutes later, a janitor knocked on the door and pushed into the office.

"Good morning, Ms, the Boss asked me to come clean his office."
