*Monroe's POV*
Charlie and I split up to go to our respective lockers. I’m not paying any attention to my surroundings but I snap my head up when I feel someone grab my arm. “What the-“ I start and then I see who it is. “Cade what are you doing?”
He drags me into an empty classroom and shuts the door, pushing me up against it and before I can react his lips are on mine. My hands act on their own accord and tangle themselves in his hair. He bites down gently on my bottom lip, as he brings his hands down to the backs of my thighs and lifts me up to straddle his waist and pins me against the door with his hips. I can feel the bulge that forms in his pants through the thin material of my panties.
I move my hands down over the hard muscles on his chest and I feel one of his slip under my sh
*Monroe's POV*Calculus goes by quickly, and I’m one of the first to make it to philosophy. As I watch the people file in I realize I’m instinctively looking for Cade. When I see him walk in just as the bell rings, I give him a tentative smile which he returns and takes his seat.“Alright class, so this week we will be starting a project on various philosophers throughout history. This project will be done in pairs,” at this everyone starts murmuring excitedly. “Quiet down please!” The murmuring stops. “You will have to submit a written study as well as give a 20 minute presentation to the class. You will have the whole week to work on it, and presentations start next Monday. Once you have chosen a partner, send one representative to come see me and I will assign you a philosopher.”
*Cade's POV*“Where have you been?” Xander asks as I sit down at our table.“Around,” I reply. He gives me a look, but doesn’t ask any more questions. The guys’ debate about which fast and furious movie is the best fades into the background as I pick at my burger.I know that I shouldn’t have just pulled Monroe into the classroom like that, but I just can’t seem to control myself around her. I’ve wanted more of her since the party and I still want more. I swear I would have fucked her right in that classroom if she hadn’t stopped me. And then for some reason I agreed to talk with her later. What the fuck was I thinking? What do I even say to her? I’ve never in my life had to actually try with girls. I’m way out of my element. What if
When I pull up to Maddy’s house and find a two storey white-brick house complete with front porch, manicured garden and an actual white picket fence, I can’t say I’m all that surprised. It has nothing to do with Maddy, it’s just what pretty much every single house around here looks like. I park long the curb, assuming that at some point her parents will be needing the driveway.I run to the porch and Maddy unlocks the door. As we’re taking off our shoes I hear little feet hurrying across the floor and look up to see an adorable blonde-haired blue-eyed boy who looks to be maybe 3 years old running towards us. “MADDYYYY!” He yells with his arms wide open. She picks him up and hugs him tightly saying, “Hiya kiddo!” Maddy has a brother? How did I not know this? Come to think of it, I don’t know a whole lot about either of their families. Geez, I
*Monroe's POV*Returning to Maddy’s, her car is still the only one in the driveway so I assume her parents aren’t home yet. I knock and am greeted by Eleanor who informs me they’re still in Maddy’s room. I head up and when I open the door, I find them lying on their stomachs eating popcorn and M&Ms with the Gossip Girl playing on the tv. Maddy scoots herself closer to Charlie and pats the space beside her. I lie down with them and grab a handful of popcorn. Maddy asks, “You ever seen this show before?” I snort and say, “Seen it? I lived it.”“Oh yeah. Right.”I pull out my phone and open the camera and say, “Smile!” Maddy kisses my cheek and Charlie sticks her tongue out. “I said smi
*Cade's POV*At 7:15 I find myself already in the parking lot of Sacrilege, sitting nervously in my car wondering what the fuck I’m even doing here. I don’t talk with girls; I fuck them and move on. But Monroe makes me feel…weird. I find myself having an internal debate on whether or not I should just leave. If I stood her up, maybe she would realize I’m no good for her. Then I wouldn’t have a choice but to stay away. I’ve almost convinced myself that leaving would be the best choice, for her sake, when I see her car pull into the parking lot. Suddenly, I’ve forgotten all of the arguments I just formulated and find myself walking towards her car. I can see her sitting there with an undiscernible expression on her face, holding on to the steering wheel. What is she thinkin
*Cade's POV*We both leave some cash on the table for the drinks and then head out. I catch the host checking out her butt as we walk by and I glare at him and then put my arm around her shoulders protectively and say to her. Fucking hell, these guys need to learn to keep their eyes to themselves. Next time I’m gonna bring a burlap sack to put over her. Actually that probably wouldn’t even work, I’m sure she would still look good.“So we’re going to take your car, and since it’s a surprise where we’re going, I’m just gonna have to drive,” I say with a smile. She pulls away and gives me an incredulous look and says, “I understand now, this,” she gestures vaguely between us, “isn’t about getting in my pants, it’s about getting in my car.”
*Monroe's POV*When I get home, I immediately facetime Maddy and Charlie, as promised and give them a play by play of the night's events. After, they both start yelling questions at me at the same time.“Woah, slow down! One at a time.”Maddy starts with, “So, what are you going to do when you see him at school tomorrow? Is it supposed to be, like, a secret or what?”I shrug and I say, “We’ll do whatever feels right at the time.”Charlie asks, “Are you guys exclusive? How does that work?”“We didn’t discuss that. It’s not really an issue from my end because there’s no one else who’s caught my
*Monroe's POV*The rest of the week passes by relatively smoothly. The stares and whispers have calmed down significantly which I’m thankful for. Cade and I have finished most of our project but we present on Monday and had no time to run through our presentation during the week so we agree to meet up on Sunday because there is apparently some kind of bonfire party thing at the beach on Saturday and I am apparently hosting the pre-drink for our little group. Similar to last time, we’ll uber to the beach and then everyone will crash at my place after. This concerns me a bit because I still have not figured out how to approach the whole “my parents are dead” thing with Cade. Let’s just hope it doesn’t come up.By noon, I have once again finished my workout, cleaned the whole house
