Chapter No 2 He is annoying

She turned sad when Jack stopped her “Princess?” She faced him again.

“Yes Daddy?” She asked curiously.

“No matter what they say, you are my princess, my daughter,” he said softly.

She smiled and her purple eyes were so alive and glittering with joy at that moment.

“Uncle Jack, Althea, over here,” someone called their names.

“Jacob,” Althea screamed, happily.

She ran towards them, Regina was also with them. Jack ran towards Regina and hugged her.

“Regina, we are meeting after a long time. Is that Jacob? He is all grown up,” he said while looking at Jacob.

“You know brother, Alpha Peter had moved us away with Tyler,” she said smiling.

Then she looked at Althea, who was greeting Jacob “Is that Althea? Oh my, she is so grown up Jack,” she said, ran towards her, and hugged her.

Althea hugged her back, “Hello Aunt Regina,” said Althea smiling.

“Oh she is so gorgeous Jack, look at her eyes, they are beautiful,” she said smiling. “I remember her eyes were hazel,” she said thoughtfully.

“She somehow changed the color,” said Jack.

“Mom, Uncle Jack we are going as it’s our class in an hour, Uncle I wanted to ask something,” Jacob asked innocently.

“Yeah go on nephew,” he said smiling.

“Can I take Althea to pack house after school? I wanted to play with her,” he said smiling. Regina chuckled but his expression turn firm.

“Are you okay with it honey?” He asked Althea and she nodded, innocently.

“Okay Nephew, you can take her with you but be careful and keep an eye on her so no one can bully her,” he said. Jacob nodded happily and they both left for the class.

“Jack, I am afraid to say something,” Ragina said while looking around her to make sure no one is listening.

“I know what you want to say, just don’t say it,” he said sadly.

“But how? They died a long time ago, how come she is the one?” she said, afraid.

“That’s what I am afraid of Regina, my daughter would be in great danger when she would shift into her wolf,” he said sadly.

“My family is your family no matter what Jack I and my mate and our son would be on your side,” she said, assuring him.

“Regina, will you come to my place in the evening?” He asked.

“Yeah sure, since years I have not seen Ruby, I will be at your place in the evening. I will bring Althea along because she is staying at our place after school today,” she said smiling.

They entered the classroom, and when she felt all eyes on her, she felt embarrassed.

“What happened?” Jacob asked her.

“Nothing, they are staring at me,” she said in a whisper.

“It’s okay let's go, we will sit in our usual place,” he said while smiling. They sat on the last bench.

Tyler entered the classroom.

“Hey Tyler, your cousin is friends with that rogue,” said Flora, who was sitting at the next bench. He turned to look and walked towards them.

“Jacob, you know she is a rogue, Are you out of your mind? Why are you sitting with this rogue?” He said harshly. His black hairs were over his forehead.

“Tyler she is my friend and my best friend, I am sorry cousin, if this offends you. You can sit with your filthy friends” Jacob stood up and said angrily.

“You…” Tyler was about to say something, but Althea got up and abruptly told him, “Please don’t fight because of me,” she said, tears filling her purple eyes.

Tyler stared into her eyes. She felt as if he was going through her brain and nervous system, “I want you out of the room now” he said harshly.

“Tyler no, you can’t use your Alpha command on her,” said Jacob worried but he already did.

He is an upcoming Alpha and only he could use Alpha command as born an Alpha.

Being a lower rank, Althea should be submitted to him and follow his order automatically, something that happens when Alpha commands a wolf but despite Alpha’s command, she was there. The command did not work on her.

“What? How can it be?” said Tyler, shocked.

“Enough Tyler, go away before I tell this Uncle Peter that you are bullying my friend and using your Alpha command on her,” he said angrily.

“This is not over,” he said in a whisper to her that only she could hear and left.

“Hey, are you okay?” Jacob asked her, and she nodded.

“Hey don’t be sad no one will bully you until I am here,” he said while hugging her softly, she smiled in return. They were best friends. Althea was lucky to have a best friend at the age of six and no one was ready to be friends with her.

“Wow, is that your pack house?” She said excitedly.

“Yeah it is our pack house, my father is the second son of the previous Alpha, so we live here, with our Uncle, Tyler, and Julia’s parents, and they are Deltas,” he said smiling.

“I don’t know why Tyler and Julia, they both are annoying?” she said annoyed.

“I know Tyler is sometimes a bitch,” he said, annoyed.

“What did you say?” a voice echoed behind them, it turned out to be Tyler.

“Tyler?” Said Jacob afraid.

“What on the planet you said to me?” He hissed, he was only seven but he got anger issues.

“I didn’t mean to, run Althea,” he said in a rush and they both ran. He folded his arms and looked at them with angry expression.

“Hi James, long time no see I asked Alpha about you, and he said you were at your mother’s place,” asked Jack.

“Yeah we came back recently as you guys have informed us that rogues have been killed and Tyler is saved,” said James.

“Ruby is this heartbeat I am hearing?” said Regina Ruby, smiling widely.

“Yeah, we are expecting,” said Ruby blushing.

“Whoa, congratulations to you both. I am so much happy” said James happily.

“It’s the blessing from the moon Goddess, first she blessed us with our little angel and now she blessed us with another one,” said Jack smiling.

“What are you expecting, boy or girl?” Asked Regina.

“Jack wants a girl and I want a boy,” said Ruby, smiling.

“Well best of luck, so would it be a future beta?” Asked James.

“We thought Althea to be,” said Ruby.

“I don’t think the pack allows this,” said Regina sadly.

“I hate pack’s laws already Regina, they are just shit, causing trouble,” said James angrily.

“You know Alpha is strictly on the side of these laws,” said Jack.

“My brother had more characteristics of a typical king, because he lived with our father more, and I live with my mom, who told me that all rogue werewolves are not bad, but our father was strictly against the rogue, even if in pack someone had a mate rogue, he would be kicked off out of the pack, mother was strictly against it,” he said annoyed.

“Where is the previous Alpha now?” Asked Ruby.

“At mother’s pack house, which is run by our cousin now,” said James.

“I am afraid of something James, don’t discuss it with anyone I am telling you both only,” said Ruby.

“What is it?” Asked James, concerned.

“I think Althea is Canis Lupus,” said James afraid.

“What? But how can it be? I mean they were extinct a long time ago,” said James afraid.

“If that’s true James then she is the most powerful, even from your family who are direct descendants of the moon Goddess,” said Regina worried.

“She is from the family of the very first werewolf,” said both James and Jack in one voice.

“I am afraid for the day when she will shift, her wolf, it will reveal the truth,” said James.

“So can we stop her from shifting?” Said Ruby.

“No, it will be more harmful because everyone will get ruder to her,” said Jack.

The environment in the room went tense, Althea came with Jacob.

“Looks like both are best friends already,” said Ruby.

“Yeah she is my best friend and I will never leave her side,” said Jacob smiling.

“I am playing princess in a play at school. I wanted him to be prince charming in the play we took part in, but he did not make it,” said Althea sadly.

“Oh, who took part then?” Asked James.

“Tyler, and I hate him,” said Althea, annoyed. James laughed.

“Althea honey, I have told you not to speak ill for future Alpha like this,” said Ruby.

“Mom he bullies me,” she said angrily.

“So my Little Nephew is already getting traits of my brother. I have to talk to him,” said James.

“Nephew?” Said Althea startled.

“Yeah I am his Uncle, as I am yours,” he said smiling.

“I am sorry Uncle James,” she said sadly.

“Hey, why?” He asked with concern.

“He is your Nephew and I just have said bad things about him,” she said sadly with tears in her eyes.

“Daddy, you made my friend sad,” said Jacob angrily. James laughed,

“Hey little one, comes here,” he said softly. She walked to him.

“I am not mad at you, my Nephew did something very wrong, bullying someone is not good, and you are such a beautiful little princess, who idiot would want to bully such a cute child?” He said softly. She smiled in return.

A Few Months Later

Ruby was cooking when she felt a sharp pain. The spoon she was holding fell from her hands. She called Althea who is playing in her room with Jacob.

They both ran, “Honey, help me to the couch,” she said, they both helped her to the couch.

“Mommy, what’s wrong?” Asked Althea while helping her to the couch.

“I am fine honey. I have mind-linked your father he will be here in a while,” she said while breathing fast. Wolves could talk telepathically with each other and this process is known as ‘Mind-link’.

After 15 minutes Jack arrived. He came in a rush.

“What happened?” He asked, worried.

“I, I am in labor Jack,” she said screaming.

“It’s all right honey, take a deep breath, let me take you to the pack hospital,” he said while lifting her.

“Jacob, I have mind-linked your father, he would be here in a while to take you both to the pack house,” he said and lifted Ruby. Wolf lives in a community known as ‘Packs’. There are more than millions of packs in the world with a lot of pack members. There is a palace or mansion in each community where Alpha lives with Beta and Delta and their families. Jack chose to live separately with his mate, Ruby.

After a while, James came and brought them to the pack house. She was sitting on the couch, she was too afraid.

“Hey little one don’t be afraid your mother will be alright,” said Regina.

“My wolf said my mom is in pain,” she said innocently.

“Your what? Your wolf?” asked Regina, startled. She nodded innocently.

“She is lying, no wolf talks to their human until werewolves reach their 7th birthday and she is only 5,” said Tyler who just came into the room.

“I am not lying and I am 6 not 5,” she said angrily.

“Whatever but your wolf can’t contact you until 7,” he said with cold expressions and left the room.

“He is annoying,” she said angrily.

“Her wolf is talking to her?” Regina thought, worried.

It has been two hours since she was in the hospital room. Jack was outside and then he heard Alpha’s voice.

“I am here Elena, Just be strong,” he said while catching her hand. He ran towards him.

“Alpha,” He bowed to him.

“Jack? What are you doing here?” He asked.

“My mate is in labor,” he said.

“Mine too,” said Peter.

The Doctor took Elena inside. An hour and a half passed.

The Doctor came out from Ruby’s room. Jack ran towards her.

“Is she all right?” He asked, afraid.

“Yeah your mate is fine and you are a father to a son,” she said happily.

“You can go and see her,” she said and left.

Another doctor came out from Luna’s room.

“How is she?” Peter asked.

“She is fine and you are a father to a beautiful baby girl,” she said happily.

Jack entered the room; Ruby was lying while the baby was inside the baby's crib. He walked slowly towards his baby, he was sleeping peacefully. He had his features but Ruby’s dark brown hair. She looked at Ruby, who smiled at him.

“He is here Ruby, the one we waited for,” he said while smiling. He carefully lifted him and took him towards Ruby.

“He is beautiful,” said Ruby with tears in her eyes.

“Just like you,” he whispered. She smiled,

“Where is Althea?” She asked, concerned.

“I left her at the pack house,” he said.

“Daddy, he is so adorable my little brother, what is his name?” She asked him.

“We did not think yet honey,” he said softly.

“Can I name him?” She asked, innocently.

“Yeah sure,” said both Jack and Ruby.

“Colin,” she said softly.

“That’s nice, where did you hear that,” asked Ruby.

“I don’t know, it was inside my mind” she shrugs innocently while Ruby smiled.

Ten Years later

“Althea, Hurry up we are running late” called out Jacob.

“Okay, Okay Mom I am going, see you after school,” she said in Rush and came out. Jacob was waiting for her outside.

It’s been ten years since they became friends, they were still best friends. Jacob turned out to be a tall, handsome guy with his fawn messy short hair.

She walked out.

She was wearing a pink dress with yellow high heels. Her long blond hair was touching her knees. Her purple almond-shaped eyes were most attractive. She became more beautiful during these 10 years.

“Hey, Why are you staring? Do I look bad or have you got this virus from people who stare at me,” she said, annoyed.

He came back to his senses.

“No, I was just wondering why on the earth you wore this bunny dress,” he said laughing

“YOU,” she said angrily.

“Okay, Okay let’s go we are running late,” he said.

“I can’t believe it, school is over,” she said sadly.

“Yeah, it’s over and we are going to high school,” he said dramatically.

“I don’t want to go to the royal school,” she said sadly.

“But why?” He asked.

“Because he would be there,” she said while looking at Tyler who was standing next to Julia. Tyler was now the most handsome and infamous guy in the pack house. Every girl could give up their youth to be with him for one night. He leaned on Julia while staring into her eyes.

Althea rolls her eyes.

“Oh don’t worry about him, you know he has been a jerk since childhood,” he said smiling.

“He is your cousin, you should not say bad things to him because of me,” she said while looking into his eyes.

“You are my cousin too, so technically he should not talk bad about you,” he said with a serious expression.

“Okay let it go, it’s a full moon tonight you have to shift so I will accompany you in the woods,” he said smiling.

“But if anyone found us?” She said afraid.

“No one will see us, I taught you to mask your scent, and the second thing Father is guarding when you are going to shift so no one will know what your wolf looks like,” he said smiling.

“I am surprised I can hide my wolf during these years,” she said.

“Hey, I won’t let anything happen to you and that’s the promise, they will never know that you are Canis Lupus,” he said strongly.

They were talking when they saw Colin and Viviana walking together toward their classes.

“Trust me sometimes I don’t believe it, in your entire life you and Tyler never get along. How come your siblings are best friends?” he said while looking at the class.

“Yeah Colin and Viviana are best friends,” she said laughing. Viviana was Tyler’s younger sister born on the same day as Colin.

“So what do you think about high school?” He asked

“Since you are going there so I am coming too,” she said while yawning.

“Glad with your decision,” he said happily.

Two weeks were left before high-school starting day; Jacob still did not come back. The full moon was appearing. She was afraid that she would have a forced shift, so she dialed his number.

“Hello Jacob, Where are you? I am about to shift its full moon,” she said afraid.

“Althea I want to come but Grandma is not well and so does Grandpa. Tyler will also arrive tonight, why don’t you take Uncle Jack?” He said worried.

“Daddy is in Packhouse as Alpha had left for your Grandma’s place,” she said sadly.

“Okay try to hold your wolf as I told you. I will try my best to be there for tomorrow,” he said worriedly.

“Okay I will wait for you Jacob,” she said sadly and hung up the phone.
