Chapter 41- Your actions are that of a peasant

When lady Katerina walked in, Sandra sat up and waited to hear if Jake was coming. “What did he say?” Lady Katerina walked to her and fixed her pillows. “I think you should give the king some time to think and calm down. He needs it,” She answered. “Is he coming?” she asked once again. “I asked the kitchen to make you some soup. It will be here soon. You must eat healthy so you can get out of here sooner.” Seeing lady Katerina avoid the question made Sandra’s heart sink.

“Please, tell me what he said.” She pleaded. She didn’t know what to expect, but she needed to know. “It doesn’t matter what he said. He is angry, and it’s understandable. Give him time.” She said, then walked to the door and opened it for the maid who brought the soup. She came with another maiden who first tasted the soup before lady Katerina passed it on to Sandra.
