Chapter 5

Narat’s POV

“Tick…tok…..tick…..tok….” He winked at me.

Gosh this guy is getting on my nerves big time.. I want to crush his bones with my bare hands.

But I need this money badly. I have no one to call at a time like this. Teer is still struggling with his bar, and the money is huge… Damn this! and there’s no one else to call. Teer’s still struggling to keep his bar afloat. The amount Kasit’s offering is huge… Damn it all.

“Fine!” I snapped, forcing a tight smile. “I just hope you don’t scream loud enough to wake the whole hotel.”

“Let’s see about that.” He winked again, settling at the edge of the bed like a king waiting to be served.

I took a deep breath and crawled toward him, locking eyes with a glare that could kill. Positioning myself between his legs, I reached for his belt. My fingers trembled as I undid it slowly, heart slamming against my ribs.

You’ve got this. Just do it.

I loosen the button and zipped it down, my jaw dropped. What a sight!!

Why act like it’s your first time seeing one?” he teased, voice low and amused. “I get it…..it’s huge. But don’t worry, pretty mouth… it’s all yours tonight.”

What the hell is wrong with me? How is he gifted like this? And why…..why the fuck……is heat pooling in my gut just looking at it?

I hate this. I’m straight. This isn’t supposed to feel… good.

I reached to pull his pants lower, ready to face it, but he suddenly grabbed my neck….firm, not painful and guided me up. Before I could react, he flipped us. Now he was on top, pinning me to the mattress.

“What do you think you’re doing?” I panicked, shoving at his chest.

He caught both my wrists and pinned them above my head, that wicked grin spreading. Leaning in close….too close….his breath ghosted my lips.

I squeezed my eyes shut, bracing for a kiss… but nothing.

A soft chuckle rumbled from him. He tugged my nose playfully instead. “You’re really pretty. I’ll call the lawyer.”

He released me completely and rolled off.

“Wait.” I grabbed his wrist on instinct. “I haven’t… pleased you yet. Like you wanted.”

“You’re going to be my wife.” His voice dropped, eyes darkening. “I don’t have to rush anything when I can have you anytime I want.”

“So you won’t give the deal to someone else just because I failed?”

“You’re too cute to let slip through my fingers.” He leaned in, whispering against my ear, “And that night at the hotel? You pleased me so well I can’t stop thinking about it.”

Then he pressed a soft kiss to my cheek.

“You’re mine now.”

“You—!” I almost called him a jerk but swallowed it, pasting on a fake smile instead.

A few minutes later, the lawyer arrived with the contract. We signed it, now there is no turning back.

One thing’s crystal clear: I’ll get everything I need from him. Then I’ll make sure he regrets ever choosing me. I’ve never lost to anyone, and I won’t start now.

Kasit wired the money right away. At least the bastard keeps his promises. With that settled, I needed to get to the hospital.

“And where do you think you’re going?” he asked as I headed for the door.

“Home, obviously.” I lied. No way I’m telling him about my sister. Someone like him would use her as leverage….she’s my only weakness.

“I never gave you permission to leave… hubby.”

“Who do you think you are that I need permission from?” I yelled.

“Nagging wife already? Cute. But you’re not going anywhere. It’s our wedding night. Couples spend it together.”

This guy is infuriating.

What if I leave and he voids the contract…..demands the money back? I can’t repay that.

“FINE!” I hissed. “BUT I NEED TO MAKE AN IMPORTANT CALL OUTSIDE NOW!”

“Who is it? Why can’t you do it here?”

“Mak a guess.” I shoved him back onto the bed and stormed out.

The only solution was to wire the money to Anna so she could handle things. During our call, she reassured me….the emergency treatment had started. I didn’t need to rush over tonight. I promised to come first thing in the morning.

Now I had to face the jerk again.

He’d already showered and changed into pajamas, lounging on the bed scrolling his phone. He nodded toward a set of clothes he’d laid out for me.

I locked myself in the bathroom for hours. The moment the cold water hit, the tears came. My sister is all I have left… I can’t lose her.

“Are you okay in there?” Kasit’s voice echoed through the door, followed by a soft knock.

“Why? Want to join me?” I shot back sarcastically but got no response from him. I just hate that dude.

I finished quickly, wrapped a white towel around my waist, and stepped to the mirror. Crossing my legs, I slowly applied lotion, letting it glide over my skin. Through the reflection, I caught him watching…..hungry, intense.

A small smile curved my lips. Maybe I can tame this one. Break him completely.

Time for bed. I sauntered over. “I don’t like sharing my bed, dear husband. So why don’t you be a good head of the household and take the floor? Unless…”

“I’ll take the floor,” he said quietly, frowning as he grabbed a pillow and extra sheet. “I’m not that horrible.”

That was… easy, we finally bid each other goodnight.

I found myself in my old home, the family pictures on the wall then I heard mom’s voice, “Narat, go get your father, we need to eat now.”

“Okay mom!”

I opened the door, walking out of my room. Rain was pounding hard outside, water splashing everywhere, I didn't bother to look for my umbrella. I smiled at the neighbours telling them I needed to go out to go get my father.

I exited the building searching for my father. The street was dark, only streetlights glowing yellow on the wet ground, rain hitting my face cold and fast.

“Dad!! Dad!!” I called but got no response. My voice just got lost in the rain noise.

I saw the silhouette of someone familiar, he was standing in the middle of the road… That’s my father. Rain pouring down on him, making his shape dark and still under the light, water running off like he didn’t even feel it.

What is he doing there?

“Dad! Please get off the road….” I screamed on the lungs of my voice seeing an incoming truck moving with speed…. Its big headlights cutting through the rain like bright knives, water flying up from the tires in sheets.

“Dad!” I ran as fast my legs could carry me to save him from getting crushed but I was too late. My feet slipped on the wet road, rain blinding me.

I held his body on my shaking hands covered with blood, the blood warm but mixing quick with cold rain running down my arms, crying out, “Dad, please wake up!”

I remained there then I heard a faint voice calling my name, “Narat!! Narat!!, get off the road..”

I had no idea where the voice was coming from, but my father’s body was gone, then I heard the blaring sounds of a vehicle over the heavy rain. “NARAT!!!” I recognize the voice..Kasit.

Suddenly the light appeared directly to my face, too bright I had to cover my face when I felt a familiar strong arm wrapped around me.

Chapter 72Kasit’s POVWaking up the next morning, my body felt heavy and worn out in the best possible way. Last night was one of the most intense and unforgettable nights of my life. Narat was still sleeping soundly on my chest, his warm breath brushing against my skin and his arm draped loosely over me. Just seeing him like this made my whole morning brighter.I leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek, then another to his forehead. “Good morning, Sunshine.”His eyes fluttered open slowly, still heavy with sleep. “Good morning, love,” he mumbled, voice husky and adorable.“Get enough rest while I make breakfast for you,” I said gently. His eyes snapped open wide, almost giving me a heart attack. The pure panic on his face was priceless.“Fine, I won’t even try it,” I laughed. “I’ll make tea then and wait for you.”He smiled softly and closed his eyes again, relaxing back into me.Am I really that terrible at cooking? Chapter 71Narat's POV When our eyes met, he gave me a small, playful wink that made my stomach flip. I tried to smile back, but inside I was angry, not at him, but at the timing. I would have been getting fucked by him right now if those villagers hadn’t shown up with their flashlights. My body was still burning from everything that had happened, and that wink only made it worse. We sat around a big burning fire on the beach as the night grew darker. The flames crackled warmly, lighting up everyone’s faces. The villagers started sharing stories about how much they had suffered under that gang. They called them the “Shadow Crew” — a group that had been terrorizing the island for years. They stole the best catches from the fishermen, took money from small shops, and sometimes forced young people to work for them or worse. One old man told us how his boat was damaged when he refused to give them part of his daily catch. A woman shared how her daughter had to hide for weeks after the gan

Chapter 70Narat’s POVI couldn’t stop smiling as we walked hand in hand to the festival area. The evening was cool and beautiful, with the sun setting and lanterns starting to glow softly around the beach. Kasit had done so much for me already.the new camera he brought just to capture our moments here. But what touched me most was how he introduced me so openly and proudly to everyone. He held me close with an arm around my waist and said clearly, “This is Narat, my partner.”The people here were so nice, like one big family. No awkward stares, no whispers behind our backs. They just smiled warmly, some aunties even teasing us lightly about being such a sweet couple. It made my heart feel light and safe. For the first time in a long time, I didn’t feel like I had to hide who I was.We sat together on the colorful mats, sharing plates of fresh seafood, grilled fish, mango sticky rice, and sweet coconut drinks. The food was so nice — simple, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything taste

We are not missing one thing!”He dragged me into the bedroom like an eager kid, laughing the whole way. Once the door clicked shut behind us, I turned to him, still feeling the frustration from the bathroom.“Why did you agree to it without even waiting for me?” I asked, my voice coming out a little grumpier than I intended.Narat tilted his head, looking at me with that soft, amused expression. “It’s fun. Why are you being so angry and grumpy about it?”I tried to hold onto my annoyance, but the way he looked at me made it impossible. A small smile broke across my face. “Okay… but let’s finish what we started before we join them.”He shook his head, still smiling. “It will take time.”“I’ll be quick,” I begged, stepping closer, my hands already reaching for his waist. “I promise.”Narat laughed lightly

Chapter 68Kasit’s POVAfter asking Thawan to stay and look after Narat at the hospital that morning, I started making all the arrangements for our planned vacation. I stepped out of the ward quietly and began making calls heading to my car. I spoke to a trusted contact on Koh Lanta, giving him clear instructions. I need a simple but comfortable apartment at the village close to the island, stocked with our clothes in the right sizes, matching everyday items, and framed photos I had secretly printed from my phone. I wanted it to feel like a real home for us. I also arranged for the new Maybach GLS to be ready for the long drive so we could enjoy the road together. Money was never an issue. I just wanted everything perfect for him.Later that morning, I asked Miss Nareumon to meet me at a quiet café not far from the hospital. She was the only person I truly trusted to handle things while I was away. We sat at a private corner table, and I explained the situation to her calmly.“Miss Na

Chapter 67Narat's POV I slowly opened my eyes when the car came to a gentle stop. The first thing I saw was Kasit’s soft smile looking at me from the driver’s seat. Morning light filtered through the windows, making his face look even more handsome.“Good morning, love. We are finally here,” he said warmly, his voice still a little husky from the long drive and everything we did last night.I stretched my arms above my head, feeling every muscle in my body ache in the best way. My back, my thighs, even my hips — everything felt tired and deliciously used from the sex in the car and the hours on the road. A small yawn escaped me as I rubbed my eyes.Kasit chuckled quietly and leaned over to kiss my cheek. “Come on, let’s get out.”I stepped out of the Maybach, the fresh sea air hitting my face immediately. We stood together at the front of the car, the engine still ticking softly as it cooled down. I leaned back against his broad chest, letting out a contented sigh. His strong arms w
