LOGINChapter 5
Narat’s POV “Tick…tok…..tick…..tok….” He winked at me. Gosh this guy is getting on my nerves big time.. I want to crush his bones with my bare hands. But I need this money badly. I have no one to call at a time like this. Teer is still struggling with his bar, and the money is huge… Damn this! and there’s no one else to call. Teer’s still struggling to keep his bar afloat. The amount Kasit’s offering is huge… Damn it all. “Fine!” I snapped, forcing a tight smile. “I just hope you don’t scream loud enough to wake the whole hotel.” “Let’s see about that.” He winked again, settling at the edge of the bed like a king waiting to be served. I took a deep breath and crawled toward him, locking eyes with a glare that could kill. Positioning myself between his legs, I reached for his belt. My fingers trembled as I undid it slowly, heart slamming against my ribs. You’ve got this. Just do it. I loosen the button and zipped it down, my jaw dropped. What a sight!! Why act like it’s your first time seeing one?” he teased, voice low and amused. “I get it…..it’s huge. But don’t worry, pretty mouth… it’s all yours tonight.” What the hell is wrong with me? How is he gifted like this? And why…..why the fuck……is heat pooling in my gut just looking at it? I hate this. I’m straight. This isn’t supposed to feel… good. I reached to pull his pants lower, ready to face it, but he suddenly grabbed my neck….firm, not painful and guided me up. Before I could react, he flipped us. Now he was on top, pinning me to the mattress. “What do you think you’re doing?” I panicked, shoving at his chest. He caught both my wrists and pinned them above my head, that wicked grin spreading. Leaning in close….too close….his breath ghosted my lips. I squeezed my eyes shut, bracing for a kiss… but nothing. A soft chuckle rumbled from him. He tugged my nose playfully instead. “You’re really pretty. I’ll call the lawyer.” He released me completely and rolled off. “Wait.” I grabbed his wrist on instinct. “I haven’t… pleased you yet. Like you wanted.” “You’re going to be my wife.” His voice dropped, eyes darkening. “I don’t have to rush anything when I can have you anytime I want.” “So you won’t give the deal to someone else just because I failed?” “You’re too cute to let slip through my fingers.” He leaned in, whispering against my ear, “And that night at the hotel? You pleased me so well I can’t stop thinking about it.” Then he pressed a soft kiss to my cheek. “You’re mine now.” “You—!” I almost called him a jerk but swallowed it, pasting on a fake smile instead. A few minutes later, the lawyer arrived with the contract. We signed it, now there is no turning back. One thing’s crystal clear: I’ll get everything I need from him. Then I’ll make sure he regrets ever choosing me. I’ve never lost to anyone, and I won’t start now. Kasit wired the money right away. At least the bastard keeps his promises. With that settled, I needed to get to the hospital. “And where do you think you’re going?” he asked as I headed for the door. “Home, obviously.” I lied. No way I’m telling him about my sister. Someone like him would use her as leverage….she’s my only weakness. “I never gave you permission to leave… hubby.” “Who do you think you are that I need permission from?” I yelled. “Nagging wife already? Cute. But you’re not going anywhere. It’s our wedding night. Couples spend it together.” This guy is infuriating. What if I leave and he voids the contract…..demands the money back? I can’t repay that. “FINE!” I hissed. “BUT I NEED TO MAKE AN IMPORTANT CALL OUTSIDE NOW!” “Who is it? Why can’t you do it here?” “Mak a guess.” I shoved him back onto the bed and stormed out. The only solution was to wire the money to Anna so she could handle things. During our call, she reassured me….the emergency treatment had started. I didn’t need to rush over tonight. I promised to come first thing in the morning. Now I had to face the jerk again. He’d already showered and changed into pajamas, lounging on the bed scrolling his phone. He nodded toward a set of clothes he’d laid out for me. I locked myself in the bathroom for hours. The moment the cold water hit, the tears came. My sister is all I have left… I can’t lose her. “Are you okay in there?” Kasit’s voice echoed through the door, followed by a soft knock. “Why? Want to join me?” I shot back sarcastically but got no response from him. I just hate that dude. I finished quickly, wrapped a white towel around my waist, and stepped to the mirror. Crossing my legs, I slowly applied lotion, letting it glide over my skin. Through the reflection, I caught him watching…..hungry, intense. A small smile curved my lips. Maybe I can tame this one. Break him completely. Time for bed. I sauntered over. “I don’t like sharing my bed, dear husband. So why don’t you be a good head of the household and take the floor? Unless…” “I’ll take the floor,” he said quietly, frowning as he grabbed a pillow and extra sheet. “I’m not that horrible.” That was… easy, we finally bid each other goodnight. I found myself in my old home, the family pictures on the wall then I heard mom’s voice, “Narat, go get your father, we need to eat now.” “Okay mom!” I opened the door, walking out of my room. Rain was pounding hard outside, water splashing everywhere, I didn't bother to look for my umbrella. I smiled at the neighbours telling them I needed to go out to go get my father. I exited the building searching for my father. The street was dark, only streetlights glowing yellow on the wet ground, rain hitting my face cold and fast. “Dad!! Dad!!” I called but got no response. My voice just got lost in the rain noise. I saw the silhouette of someone familiar, he was standing in the middle of the road… That’s my father. Rain pouring down on him, making his shape dark and still under the light, water running off like he didn’t even feel it. What is he doing there? “Dad! Please get off the road….” I screamed on the lungs of my voice seeing an incoming truck moving with speed…. Its big headlights cutting through the rain like bright knives, water flying up from the tires in sheets. “Dad!” I ran as fast my legs could carry me to save him from getting crushed but I was too late. My feet slipped on the wet road, rain blinding me. I held his body on my shaking hands covered with blood, the blood warm but mixing quick with cold rain running down my arms, crying out, “Dad, please wake up!” I remained there then I heard a faint voice calling my name, “Narat!! Narat!!, get off the road..” I had no idea where the voice was coming from, but my father’s body was gone, then I heard the blaring sounds of a vehicle over the heavy rain. “NARAT!!!” I recognize the voice..Kasit. Suddenly the light appeared directly to my face, too bright I had to cover my face when I felt a familiar strong arm wrapped around me.Chapter 35Narat’s POVI boarded a taxi immediately without looking back. I couldn’t stay in a place that hurt me this much. Why did he have to believe her? Why?Is it because he still cares for her deep down?I must have been so foolish, letting my guard down for these stupid new feelings.I should never have changed for someone like him.Sometimes I wonder…..why marry me secretly in the first place? What was the point?I will find other ways to get the money to clear all my debts, then request a divorce. There won’t be any need to make him hate me anymore because he will no longer see me. All I have to do now is send him money every month.I am done with him.I didn’t go home. Instead, I headed straight to Teer’s bar.“Narat!” His eyes filled with worry the second he saw me. He rushed over immediately. “What happened? You know what, save your strength. Let me tend to your wound first. Just sit here and wait.” He added quickly and hurried to grab his first aid kit while I sank into on
Chapter 34Narat’s POVI overheard some of the workers talking about me as I passed by the break area.“I heard he’s trying to break the boss’s relationship with Miss Darika.”“He just got a cute face and nothing more. Something definitely is going on.”“Just a matter of time, the truth will come out.”I forced a quick “hello” to them before heading straight to my desk. At least there were no rumors about our contract marriage yet. And Darika hadn’t really looked my way since that day. I guess I was finally free.I decided to check Kasit’s schedule. His mom had fixed it, and I’d been warned never to tamper with anything she scheduled. My eyes widened seeing most of the meetings and dates lined up with Darika. Does this mean he’ll be spending even more time with her now?Well, it’s really not my concern at all. At least I’m already gaining so much from Kasit. The building on the land has already commenced, and I changed my mind……I want to build a proper house instead and buy the café I
Chapter 33Narat’s POVThe next morning, I woke up to an empty bed. Kasit was gone.Don’t tell me this time he called his friend to watch over me again? I’m already getting better.I climbed out of bed and shuffled to the living room, where I found a note lying next to my phone.Did he actually go back to the warehouse to get my phone for me? I remember it slipping from my hand that night. I picked up the note and read,“I made you breakfast very early. Make sure you don’t skip it at all. I poured my heart into this and gave it everything I’ve got. You should be proud, you’re the first person I’ve ever cooked for.”There he goes again, acting all proud of himself.“Get some rest after eating. I already informed the others you’re taking the day off. Take good care of yourself, my little bunny. Call if you miss me.”I will never call him. I don’t miss him.I lied to myself. My cheeks burned as I headed to the dining table to see what he’d apparently spent decades cooking. I hoped he hadn
Chapter 32Kasit’s POV Kasit’s POVI gently took my seat, feeling so uncomfortable.mostly because of the way Narat was staring at me. I’m sure if he’d been handed a gun right then, he would’ve pulled the trigger without a second thought.“OMG! This is so good,” Sophia squealed with excitement, scooping up another full spoonful of food to feed me. I noticed how Narat angrily slammed his fork down on the plate.“Thanks for the food.” Narat stood up abruptly and stormed off toward the bedroom, his steps heavy with fury.“Why is he going into your bedroom? Do you let your friends sleep there?” Sophia asked, looking genuinely surprised.“You need to leave, Sophia.”“Why? I planned on spending the night with you…” She reached for my lap, rubbing it slowly—just as Narat stepped back out and saw everything. I had no idea he would come back so soon, but I never had any intention of doing anything with her anyway. He rushed back in, eyes blazing.“Stop!!” I slapped her hand away hard.“Come on
Chapter 31 Narat’s POVWhy am I feeling so jealous about this? Kasit and I are not even a thing. And we will never be a thing… never…My inner voice cut in sharply. “But you two have been intimate for quite some time now. Doesn’t that count as being a couple?”“Hell no!!! The sex just happened because he caused it.”“Says the one who made the first move to kiss him on that empty land space… He wanted to stop, but you pulled him back in and made him continue. That means you both are basically a couple already. So what more do you need to make it official when you’re officially married?”“It’s just a contract marriage! And I kissed him because I was too excited about becoming a landowner.”I argued with myself fiercely. The war raging inside my head was driving me completely insane, twisting my thoughts into knots.I felt a hand land gently on my shoulder.“What is it?” I yelled, snapping without meaning to.Oh. Thawan. Why did I raise my voice at him like that?“I’m sorry,” I muttered
Chapter 30Narat’s POV“Happy birthday to you… Happy birthday to you… Happy birthday dear Narat… Happy birthday to you.” My parents, along with my sister, sang the birthday song for me.I let out a beautiful smile.“Thank you so much, everyone.” I jumped into their arms for a big hug.“So are you ready to see what we have prepared for you?” Dad asked with a warm smile.I nodded eagerly, a big smile plastered on my face.“Good boy. Just wait a little,” Dad added.“I need to prepare something delicious since it’s my only son’s birthday,” Mom said, and I hugged her again tightly.“Mom, let me assist you in the kitchen today.”“Oh my dear son…” She squatted to my level and caressed my hair nonstop. “I know how much you love to help out in the kitchen. I’m even certain your sister won’t ever go hungry having a brother who’s such a good cook. But today is your birthday, you are not allowed to assist.”“But I really want to help out, Mom.”“After your birthday. For now, go play with your sist
