Chapter 3 Weak Human

Audrey blinked, adjusting to the bright light that suddenly hit her eyes after being covered by the black cloth for a while.

She turned and saw the two men who kidnapped her from the garden at the Sunshine cancer rehabilitation clinic.

"Hey, why did you kidnap me and what is this place?" Audrey snapped shakily.  She looked around and thought that she was in a quite luxurious hotel room.

Suddenly a terrible thought flashed through Audrey's mind. She looked at the two men in front of her with fear and stepped back away from them.

She didn't know them and there had been recent cases of kidnapping of women, who were then raped, murdered, and their bodies thrown into the sea or ravines.

"We brought you here because it's time for you to do your job," said one of the two men.

"Job? What job?" Audrey asked nervously.

This sounds ridiculous. She had just caught her boyfriend sleeping with her best friend, been fired from her job, and was told that she had to provide a large amount of money for her mother's surgery costs, and now the two men in front of her were saying that she was taken to a hotel to do her job. What job?

Audrey became even more frightened now. Is she a victim of human trafficking and is now being forced to work as a... prostitute?

Oh God, why doesn't this suffering end yet, Audrey thought with a feeling of fear that made her knees weak and her legs seem to turn to jelly.

"Miss Audrey, don't play around. You have agreed to be a surrogate mother as our master wishes, so don't play around anymore!"  snapped the other man.

Audrey's jaw dropped, fear run down her body. She stammered, "S-surrogate mother? No no no no... This must be a misunderstanding. You've arrested the wrong person. Please check it again!"

The man showed Audrey a paper and even though she was annoyed, Audrey couldn't help but read it. The paper is a contract regarding surrogacy.

Audrey was wide-eyed when she saw that her full identity was listed as the party who agreed to the surrogacy process, in exchange for a large amount of money.

"It’s false! I've never made a contract like this with anyone," snapped Audrey loudly.

Feelings of fear, confusion and hurt made Audrey almost faint. She wanted to cry out loud to vent all the painful feelings in her heart, but the two terrifying-looking men in front of her would definitely become even angrier.

The man holding the contract paper narrowed his eyes in annoyance. "Don't mess around, Miss, it's clear that it's your identity on the contract and also  your signature! Carry out your obligations now, since you've received your rights."

Audrey screamed in horror. "What rights?! I have no idea what's this all about!"

With that, she ran for the door, but the fat man caught her easily and grabbed her hands behind her back. It's so painful.

Audrey tried to free herself by wriggling around. "Please, please let me go, please..." She begged but the fat man grabbed her even harder. Her tears flow uncontrollably.

The fat man holding Audrey clicked his tongue and leaned his face close to Audrey's neck. The sour smell of cheap tobacco made Audrey feel nauseous.

"Miss, you've told your cousin to take care of disbursing your money, right?  Don't pretend anymore!"

Audrey was stunned. Cousin? She didn't have cousin nor family at all. She just has an adoptive mother and she was lying in a hospital bed now.

"W-Who was the person who received the money?" asked Audrey stammering. "I didn't have any cousins."

The eyebrows of the man holding the contract paper rose. "Huh? I forgot his name. Klain? Cline? Whatever. He's a handsome guy, although a bit short and the mole above his lip is a bit of an eyesore."

Audrey felt her blood freeze. She only knows one guy with a mole above his lip, and that's her ex-boyfriend, Sandford Claye. After she burned his car, he was so cruel to ruin her life.

Andrey wanted to kill Sandford immediately, but the situation didn't allow it. Her heart began to race as she wondered how to escape.

"Stop resisting, girl. Do you know who you signed the agreement with? No one in this city would dare to cross him," the fat guy said coolly.

Andrey bit her lip and a*sessed the situation in the room. She had an ashtray nearby - surrender was not an option!

The thin man watched her helplessness and said, "Let her go. She'll do nothing but become the big shot's plaything. We'll wait for the transaction to go through while drinking some ice water."

The fat man sneered and released Andrey. She quickly grabbed the ashtray and hit the fat man, causing him to bleed profusely. She tried to run towards the door, but the fat man caught her. The thin man then jumped on top of her to restrain her.

They were both ferocious, with the thin man's hands hitting her face. “bi*ch!”

"Let me go! What you're doing is illegal!" Andrey struggled, but they kicked her in the stomach. Afterward, they injected a drug into her wrist.

"What did you inject me with?!" Andrey yelled frantically.

"Something that'll make you spread your legs willingly. You'll know its charm in thirty minutes," the thin man said evilly.

Suddenly, they heard a noise at the door. Andrey saw a strong figure rushing towards her. Within a minute, the thin man on top of her was thrown against the wall!

Who was it? Andrey's mind went blank. The two kidnappers were too scared to make a sound when they saw who was coming.

"I told you guys, be polite and don't be rude to her!" snapped the strange man. His husky voice made the two men who kidnapped Audrey looked down in fear.

Andrey gazed at the stunning man in front of her. His physique was exceptionally powerful. Even in his suit, she could see pronounced muscles when he flexed his arms.

Was he the powerful man everyone talked about? Was he there to take her virginity?

Despite the discomfort, Andrey tried to stand up and leave. But before she could, the man pushed her against the wall, his body pressing tightly against hers.

His eyes turned a fiery red as he spoke one word, "Mine."

Audrey stunned. "What? M-mate?"

Mate! My wolf growls!
