Isabella was snuggled up against Evander, and she took the chance to sleep again. Not like she didn't get enough sleep, but what else would she do when she's snuggled up against a comfortable male chest? Sleep or admire it. Well, she was done with the admiring part, so she decided to sleep. By the time she woke up, it was noon and she wasn't on his chest, but on a round, gigantic bed, one that actually had a roof. It was all white and gold and the very bright combination almost blinded her.
"I can see you're awake."
A voice said, but it wasn’t the kind musical voice Evander had. This one sounded deeper, and like the person who owned it didn't give two fucks about her. Oh well, she didn't give two fucks about him too, hell, she wouldn’t spare one. She turned towards the direction of the voice and Alec, the shorter dark haired beta was standing cross armed, narrowing his eyes at her.
She had the strong urge to tackle him and slap him across the face for looking at her that way, but she was "a helpless rogue who didn't know how to fight and was the sweetest little human to ever grace the earth", so she calmed down and expressed confusion instead.
"What is this place?"
She asked, moving to snuggle against the bedpost. He rolled his eyes at her.
"There is food beside you. Eat and clean up. Evander's caught up with something and he won't see you now."
He said, already walking out and once he walked out, closed the door behind him.
"Who the hell does he think he is?"
She scoffed and put her legs down, looking down so she could stand up, but she almost repelled herself with shock. The floor was made of glass, white and she could actually see her reflection. Carefully placing one foot on it and tapping it twice to make sure she wouldn't fall, she plopped down her entire weight on it and stood, looking down.
The room was huge, big enough to accommodate twenty people, and all of them would be free. The bed, round with a canopy, was gold and white, just like the bedside drawers, lamps, walk in closet, shoe racks, clock, and door. The walk in closet was closed and she could see a huge mirror in front. Ignoring how scattered the reflection of her was in the mirror, she opened the closet and saw an array of carefully arranged white clothes. Not even a crease was on them. She came out of it, and saw a smaller, yet the same color closet and on opening it found colored clothes, mostly in sky blue, black or grey.
The shoes arranged on the rack was mostly white, then sky blue and black in a very small minority. She shook Her head at the lack of red and was walking back to the bed to eat when she heard a knock. She cursed under her breath and turned to see Evander ushering himself into the room. She figured it was his. Well, someone knows how to treat a delta. She internally rolled her eyes. He was wearing a white tight jean, with white shirt and white sneakers..
His hair was neat, and he had a silver ring on his right ring finger and a huge smile on his beautiful face.
"Hey, good thing you're awake. Have you eaten?"
He said, his eyes darting from the untouched food to her face. She shook her head.
"I don’t have an appetite,"
once again reverting to the helpless rogue who's seen the harsh side of life.
"You have to eat."
He said with a tone of finality, and she didn’t complain since she was hungry anyway. She sat at the far side of the bed, while he brought the food, holding it in his right palm. She looked at him, resisting the urge to raise a brow.
"What am I? A baby?"
She mumbled and he looked up
. "Did you say something?"
She shook her head and he nodded.
"Say ahh"
he said, smiling at her and she rolled her eyes. He pushed the spoon further and she opened her mouth slowly, allowing him to feed her.
"That's a good girl"
he said, patting her head. He wiped the nonexistent stain from her lips and kept the napkin back on the bedside drawer.
"Now, lets finish this, Right?"
He said and continued to feed her. Once she was done eating, he packed up the plates, gave it to someone she couldn't see behind the door and came back to sit beside her on the bed, clasping his fingers on his lap and looking at her shyly. He cleared his throat.
"While you were sleeping, i had someone take measurements. Well, she didn’t get you much, cause i am not going to deprive you of the whole girl shopping thing."
He laughed nervously as she just stared at him, not saying a word. He stood up, and collected a medium sized shopping bag, one that had the words " Full moon" on the front. He handed it to her, smiling boyishly.
"what's this?"
She inquired, looking at the bag.
"Clothes,"
He said, shrugging. He pointed at a door to the far left of the room.
"that's the bathroom. Go take a shower. Toiletries, and everything you will need is already in there. I prepared them especially for you. I will show you around when you get dressed."
He said and backed out, closing the door behind him. She had just let herself down from the bed when he popped his head back in, this time, looking everywhere but her.
"um, I’m sorry....if you, Uhmm..perhaps, need Uhmm...some underwear, it would be in that bag. I swear, I didn’t check."
He said, quickly and literally ran out, his face, red as ripe tomato. She just shook her head and went in to take a shower.
"What the fuck?"She said, pulling at the white knee length floral dress. It was beautiful for a bimbo, not a delta. Fuck it. She wore the buckle white sandals that was brought with the bag. What is this? No boots? She hissed, looking at herself in the mirror."I swear, if this goes on, I’ll kill myself."She said to her own reflection, and tied her hair into a high ponytail. She doesn’t need makeup. She never did. She was beautiful, stunning, graceful and those things and more were the things that Evander saw when she walked out of the door. He was leaning, by the nearest wall, one leg bent and balanced on the wall, the other tapping slowly on the glass floor."Hey."He said, breathless, his chest heaving with emotions he couldn't name. "Hi"she kept trying to adjust the sleeve and he walked up to her and helped her adjust it."Sorry about that, I’m just not very good with dresses."She wasn't lying. She didn't
Evander stayed outside as he gave her his credit card to shop with it. She had declined at first, but he wasn’t one to hear a no. Full moon pack and their alpha amused her. The peace, floral designs and all, would make you think of a sophisticated 1800s, but just wait till you get inside. They allowed nature and sophistication rule their outside surroundings and technology and the feeling of the 21st century in their clothing’s, devices and internal structures. She walked to the woman, already eyeing a set of leather pants she had seen on her way in. She told her what she wanted and the woman calmly led her to the clothing rack. From the way the woman kept looking from her to the door, she knew that the woman was well aware that she was with the Alpha. Well, where did a delta belong? She huffed and continued checking the trousers.&
Why are you up?""Why are you up?"She replied, stressing the you."I was working."He shrugged."You?"She contemplated telling him. It was something she always did, back in split moon. She looked at him. its just Evander. Even if its a taboo, he'll let her get away with it."I was hungry."He laughed a little."Well, I am too. That's what brought me out."She released a breath she didn’t realize she was holding and smiled at him, meeting his eyes. She was standing a bit higher, since his office was downstairs and he saw her coming down the stairs. Their eyes met, and he held her gaze. They stayed like that for sometime, before she broke the gaze and looked away. He cleared his throat, trying to clear the tension in the room."What do you want? There should be pizza, maybe some...I don’t know, waffles, ice cream? Do you take fruit juice? Or do you stick to meat only diet?"
Its been a month, since Evander picked Bella, and has since then, shown her a world, one that wasn't even in her dreams. All she knew was violence, and he gave her peace. All she knew was pain, and he gave her healing, all she saw was blood and gore, he showed her nature and arts and flowers, she was used to the sound of helpless screams and metal, he gave her music, laughter and kind words. And amidst all of this, he gave her trust, both his and hers, he gave her companionship, love, and even though all of these were great, she knew that this was not her life. This can never be her life. She had to get back, no matter what."Penny for your thoughts?"She looked up."I wasn’t thinking about anything."" you were,"he said assertively."You do that thing where you rub your lower lip with your tongue real fast, and your eyes become smaller and darker, a
She went to the wardrobe, making sure to close the door so she would hear if someone was coming in. Evander always knocks, even if the door was open, but still. She had to make sure. She had left him sleeping on the log in the garden, brought him a blanket and had come here alone. She would need maximum privacy foe what she was about to do. She ransacked, then found it behind thewardrobe, just where she had put it, after the first shopping spree with Evander. She closed it and went to stand by the window. The view was beautiful and it was her favorite place. She saw the gamma, Jake. He didn’t talk much and when Evander introduced her to him, he just smiled, said a "nice to meet you." and excused himself. He was one to fuss, to be honest. He made sure Evander, and since she was Evander's guest, that both of them had their meals, weren’t feeling sick. He was one caring person, very silent, but caring. She looked down a
"You look beautiful."Evander tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and stepped back to look at her again. She smiled."I can't believe you're going out like this. Someone may kidnap you or...or..you know."She laughed, humorlessly. The only one who's dangerous here is me."Stop, its okay. I will be back really soon."She had received a text earlier and the men she had asked for were already at their rendezvous point."Are you sure you don't want me to comealong?"His hands were on both her shoulders. As usual, he was wearing white from head to toe, with his silver ring and blonde hair."I will be okay."He nodded, not quite letting her go. She moved away, putting some distance between them, then turned to the bed to get her phone. She stood straight as he hugged her from behind."I don't know why, but I have a bad feeling about this."Her heart was beating wildly in her chest, as she knew he
"Alec! Alec!!! Hey!"Evander was running towards Alec, who was standing at the front of the gate, just where he and Jake had left him."Alec! I know you are angry, but come in. Someone is coming for us."He could only see him, and was running to him, his mind too clouded to make sense of the chaos around him. He was just in time to see three bullets penetrate Alec. Alec fell to his knees, not quite dead, and he saw his head severe from his body. Evander almost passedout. He saw more people running towards him, and away from where he stood, he saw about five men pouring what seemed to be petroleum on the houses, setting them on fire. It all happened so fast, it seemed to him like he was in a 3D film."Evander, get out of here. Even if we all die, we still need you."Jake was holding his hand, running, before they both tripped, hitting the ground, tears filling Evander's eyes. His hands were wrapped around J
"Jake, Alec. Take her to the punishment room. Just leave when you are done. I want to be alone."Evander's voice was so low, they could hardly hear. Jake and Alec looked at each other. They didn’t have a punishment room. Only a correction room, and that was where they left her. Alec glared as he kept her on the available seat, pointing at her with a flashlight. The room was entirely dark, except for his light. She glared back."You have the guts to glare at me, You..""Alec, lets leave."Jake said, holding his hand. Alec fought it out of his grip."She killed all of us, Jake. She killed us, burnt down our houses, she betrayed our Alpha. You just want to let her be? You know Evander. He wont ever do anything to her. He's hurting, all because of her, and he wont ever retaliate."Jake sighed."We are full moon. We are peaceful, we are serenity. We are unity, we are harmony. We are love and trust and virtue. We are forgi
