Mikhail’s POV

The sound of Yuri's anguished cries pierced through my heart, causing it to ache with a deep sense of sorrow. I watched helplessly as she sat on the ground, her body wracked with sobs that shook her shoulders violently. Her tears flowed freely, showing no signs of abating anytime soon.

I felt utterly powerless, unable to offer any words of comfort or solace to ease her pain. It was a raw and intense emotion that only she could fully comprehend and articulate.

We remained inside the Alpha's house, sitting on the cold, hard ground. Time seemed to stretch on endlessly as Yuri's cries echoed throughout the room. Eventually, her tears subsided, a feat I had thought impossible. However, the relief was short-lived as her face was consumed by a dark, brooding expression. Her eyes were empty, devoid of any spark of life, and she resembled the same broken, defeated person I had first met - someone who had lost all will to live.

Slowly and cautiously, I approached Yuri and sat
