Chapter Seventy-three

I woke up when I felt someone touch my cheek. When I opened my eyes I saw Jack smiling in front of me. I couldn’t help but smile and lean over him. 

"Good morning, Tatiana," he said and caressed my burned face. I turned my face away from him and smiled a little. 

"I'm sorry, Jack. I... I'm not comfortable when someone is touching my face..." I explained. He just smiled at me.

"I know. Anyway, get ready, okay? It's your surgery today," he reminded. I nodded and get up from my bed. I sighed when I entered my bathroom. I'm not really comfortable around Jack, and I don't know why.

"Jill..." I suddenly muttered. My forehead creased when a figure flashed in my mind. Wait, who is Jill?

I washed my facre to erase that image. Why would ahy I think of someone I don't even know.
