Chapter four.

SCARS POV (continuation.)

"A mate is like a soulmate." Amelia says then grabs a metal stool. "Its like someone who is destined for you, and completes you."

Destined??

"So am Austen's mate?" I pushed down the lump in my throat.

Is that why he brought me here?

Such a stupid logic. There's more than a million, pretty girls in this world and he thinks it's me?

He definitely must be mistaken.

If it's the reason he is keeping me alive, then what will happen when he finds out I am not.

My death?

"Yup, and don't worry, he might look like a big and scary badass, but he's just a very cute dog with a big heart underneath." Amelia jokes.

"I don't like dogs." I deadpan.

"Oh....."

"Am just kidding.

"Jesus, you really got me, I thought I had to call the big bad wolf is a cute cat." Amelia says in between laughter's, and I can't help the small giggle that escapes my lips.

My mother. How do I tell her I was really serious when I said I don't like dogs?

Just play along Scar. For the sake of your life.

"Who is Luna?" I remember Derek had called it twice, while referring to me.

"Luna is kind off a tittle." Amelia says cheerily.

I wonder how she keeps the smile on her face.

"An alpha is the head of a pack, and the Luna is the alpha's mate." She explains, and I give a small nod.

"So if Austen is an Alpha." Amelia phrases.

"Then am a Luna." I say with uncertainty.

This is crazy. I thought my life was crazy before, but this puts it to shame.

And a pack. Isn't it a group of wolves? Wait, a minute...

"There are more people than you and Austin?" I ask, praying to the heavens that I get a negative answer.

"Me and Austin?" Amelia laughed loudly, almost tumbling off her chair. "for real. We have thousands of people in our lack. They are really going to be delighted to meet you."

And I don't think the feeling would be mutual.

"Anymore questions?" Amelia ticks.

"I got a thousand more." I whisper, not sure if she can hear me or not.

"Well, you can use the library." She proposes.

"You guys have a library?" My mouth took the lead this time.

"Wanna look.?" Amelia jumps off the chair then turns to me.

"Sure." I murmur.

I need to get an update of my situation. And us there anyplace as lit as a library.

Like they say. Knowledge is power.

We walk pass an endless hall, which all look the same until we got to a big double door.

It sure looks like those magic doors you see in the movies.

Very ancient and dull, with some strange carvings on it.

Spells. Maybe.

"Stop admiring the door and come in." Amelia says before walking in.

My mouth drops open at the size of the room.

"I can spend the rest of my life here." I gush in awe.

"Am sure you can." Amelia adds.

I trace the wooden book shelves with my fingers; it looks old but it's surprisingly clean and free of dust.

"Okay, since you seem to have bonded with the library, am just gonna go do my 'me' stuffs." Amelia yells, exciting the library. "You sure know you way back, don't you?"

"I guess." I reply to her retreating figure. Breathing out a sigh when she is finally out of sight.

Having this huge space to myself. I can now think.

Now. Let's first look at the situation.

A handsome werewolf, who is a leader of a pack with a lot of people and thinks I am his soulmate, has kidnapped me. Which I definitely amn't.

Solution.

I need to get out of here as soon as possible.

Good.

After picking about nine books, I settle down at a small wooden table near an enormous glass window.

What should we start with now?

My eyes scans through the books. Blood moon. Okay that would be later, the book seems too big and bloody.

I pick up a much smaller book which reads 'werewolf history, okay this one seems better.

At the end of an hour, I had finished with the book and take up another. 'Magus.'

If I am right, that's the Latin world for magic.

I read until the sun goes down, and my stomach starts grumbling for food.

And so far, I managed to get a better view of the whole thing.

I am doomed. There is really no way I can escape from here.

Talk about escape, I don't think I will be able to take three steps and go unnoticed.

They had inhuman speed, unbeatable stamina, good hearing and vision. Also, having the ability to catch even the tiniest scent.

Tell me. Doesn't it all spell death?

Enough of wallowing in self pity. Am fine for today.

I walk out of the library and into the hall.

Now, which way?

Left or right??

Okay we go right, since it says right.

My heart pounds violently against my ribcage as I walk down the dark, empty halls.

Although I don't want to admit it. I know am lost.

I have never been good with directions.

But maybe it's because the heavens think I have been suffering for too long, or maybe it's because they had other plans in stored for me, cause I shockingly found the living room.

Eyes locking on the kitchen door, I hear my stomach let out a loud grumble.

Should I go make something for myself?

What if Austin gets mad?

I should just go to bed.

But then my eyes caught the exit door.

I should just go to bed.

Just go to bed Scar.

I will just take one small peck then go to sleep.

A bright light attacks my vision as I walked through the door, which leads to a wide opening.

Where am I? Maybe in wonderland,

Scarlet in wonderland? Okay that is funny.

The woods look beautiful, trees and flowers everywhere.

I wander around for some minutes hoping I'd find someone who can help me with directions.

Okay. It's the opposite.

I wish I don't run into anyone. But am lost. Again.

My air supply is cut off when something runs into me, the force sending me flying, until my body collides with a tree, and only then did the motion stopped.

My mother. What happened??

Pain shuts through me as I try to stand up, my vision foggy, swirling left and right, until the lights all dulls out.
