"What the hell? Let me go!" said Selena as she rebelled.
Several of Damian's subordinates now dragged her up from the bed and unfastened the chain that cuffed one of Selena's hands. Then two of them grabbed Selena's arms and pulled her out of the room. It was obvious that Selena was rebelling from the way she held her legs and tried to hold herself up as her arms were pulled quite roughly. She was dragged quite roughly like that to the outside of her room. In the midst of Selena's rebellion, her eyes kept stealing glances at the rather luxurious section outside her cozy room. The corridor looked clean, neat and beautiful. Selena was forced to keep walking. Until she was confronted by Damian's six women. Selena frowned as she stared at the six strange women in her head. And the six women were staring at Selena with a look that Selena couldn't interpret. Merry's eyes were fixed on Selena. The young girl she thought would unseat her. But it seemed Damian's words were very believable, about her only being a prisoner for Damian. "Let go!" said Selena half shouting, trying to defend herself. "Let her go!" said Damian, who had been walking behind Selena, moving in front of her. Selena was unceremoniously thrown to the floor. Damian then looked at Merry who seemed satisfied with what she saw. From the way the maid had dressed Selena, and Selena's rather messy hair, it was clear she was nothing special. "Is this what you want? Is it enough? I have to take care of it quickly, to get what I want back," Damian said as he looked at Merry. As if the way he was treating Selena right now was purely Merry's request. And Merry just nodded her head as she was about to get closer. However, Damian immediately spread one hand, indicating that she should not come closer. "Don't touch her, at all. She's my prisoner, she's mine." Damian gave Merry a sharp look. Merry growled at Damian's reaction and backed away. Selena, who was sitting on the floor, stared at them with furrowed brows. She was confused by the current situation. "Drag her back to the interrogation room. I need to get her to talk about her boyfriend." Damian then walked first. And his subordinates again pulled Selena's hand and forced her to walk after Damian. Rose looked at her with pity. Apparently, she was the only one who was sane enough. The other four besides Merry and Rose immediately whispered about Selena. In the interrogation room, Selena was again thrown around. Making her whimper softly and try to get up. As she rested on her knees and wanted to lift her ass higher, Damian's subordinates immediately held her shoulders to keep her sitting on her knees. Selena immediately looked up at Damian who was now turned back to her. "I'm not going to be kind to you. But I also won't be too harsh if you answer my questions earnestly and honestly. Do you know where Axel goes most of the time? He must have a place he goes to every day, maybe?" Damian asked. "I don't know. I'm his ex-girlfriend, not his guardian angel," Selena retorted irritably. And a hard slap landed on Selena's cheek. It took Selena's breath away for a moment and she hissed as she held her cheek, which felt hot and warm. Images of another man and woman appeared in her vision as she was slapped by Damian. You useless bastard! Why don't you just die? Why do you grow every year? Can't you just stop eating and die? Her eyes then glazed over. Her gaze met Damian's. Seeing Selena teary-eyed made Damian chuckle, which was amusing. "You want to cry? Cry, loudly! I'll record it and send it to Axel. Let's see how disturbed he is to see his little girl crying because of me." Damian chuckled. Selena hissed and sighed heavily. Trying to hold back the tears, she blinked her eyes to neutralize her mood and the heat in her eyes. "It's useless, he won't be bothered by anything that happens to me. I told you, our relationship isn't even good these days. He won't care about me!" Selena pressed. "Li-ar. Don't try to lie to me! You're pointing out that he gave you a clear briefing to deal with this situation. He probably told you about a chip he stole from me?" Damian raised his eyebrows. "I don't know what chip you're referring to. And are you stupid? How would someone just confess to their girlfriend that they stole something and tell their girlfriend if she's going to be in danger, then give a briefing. It makes no sense." Selena snorted, her voice a little shaky but she was calm enough. Damian just smiled at that as he shook his head lightly. "Should I force you to say something? Ah, yeah... I should have done this since yesterday. It's just that, because of your impudence after I was nice to you, you fainted. Do I have to give you another warning?" Damian reached out his hand to touch Selena's jawline. Selena's face turned away as soon as she was touched, she rejected Damian's touch. Damian raised one eyebrow and pulled his hand away. "Tie her to the chair again!" Damian ordered. And his men immediately moved quickly to get a wooden chair and brought Selena to sit there. Roughly, Selena's body was pulled and pushed by them as she struggled. And no matter how much Selena tried, she still lost. They sat Selena down, pulled her hands behind her back and tied them. Her legs were also tied to the chair legs. Selena grunted, she wasn't yet worried about what Damian would do. "You should know, this is just a warning." Damian glanced at his men who were lighting a candle there. Selena looked at where Damian was staring. "But I've spoken the truth. What else can I say?" Selena snorted in annoyance. "At the very least, I should get some valuable information." Damian then accepted the lit candle and approached Selena. Selena stared at him, not understanding what warning Damian was referring to. However, as soon as Damian tilted the candle just above Selena's feet, so that the melted wax dripped onto her feet, Selena hissed and gasped in shock. "Shh!" hissed Selena, her brow furrowed at Damian standing in front of her. "For the first time it might not hurt so much and just be a bit of a shock. But once your skin layer is thinned by burning little by little, with repeated drops of wax, it will cause quite severe burns." Damian explained how his warning worked. Selena stared at her foot, it stung a little but the pain only came and went. However, as one of Damian's subordinates picked up the wax droplets that had started to harden on Selena's feet, Selena widened her eyes as she realized what Damian was about to do."This time I'm sure Selena won't reject me. I'll propose to her properly," Damian said. "When exactly are you going to propose to Selena?" Hendry looked at Damian with curiosity. Damian was silent as he smiled at the lost ring box. Suffice to say, he had simply forgotten where he kept it. He hadn't paid any attention to it since Selena rejected him. He just forgot about it. Until a few days ago when Damian was about to buy a new ring, he was reminded by Luca that he had bought a ring before for Selena. What's more, Damian was a little confused and thought about how he could know Selena's finger size when he was about to buy a new ring. And it was Luca who struggled to find the ring. Luca is the one who will always have a hard time around Damian. That's why Grace planned to take Luca away if they managed to get married, she would take Luca and herself away and find a new job. *** "Today we're going for a walk to the lake. There's really nothing special t
Damian sighed as he walked out of the meeting room and looked down at his phone. There was a message from Selena that made him smile as soon as he saw the photo. The photo Selena sent him made him unable to help but smile. To which he replied to the message. Damian: Adorable. "You're smiling at your phone right now? You don't usually smile at people but you're smiling so sincerely at your phone?" Damian immediately turned to the source of the voice. The voice had too suddenly appeared in his office. It was none other than Hendry who entered his office without permission. Hendry seemed curious as to what made Damian smile like that. Although the biggest possibility he could figure out was Selena. "That's none of your business. What are you doing here? If you came just to ask about Selena again, Selena won't be coming home for a while," Damian sneered. "Ah, I see. It looks like Selena is adjusting to having her mother there." Damian sat back in his chair.
In the morning, Selena had just washed her hair and was rubbing her hair with a towel while gazing at the view on her balcony. She was enjoying the fresh air after a warm shower that morning. She looked fresh in her new clothes that were just the right size. Sabrina approached Selena with pleasure. After all, the girl had already shown to open herself up. And that made Sabrina not hesitate to approach Selena directly. "You've already taken a shower. Oh, you shouldn't rub her hair like that with a towel, it would be better to dry it using a hair dryer and give vitamins to your hair. Just a moment, I'll bring everything." Selena looked at her in confusion. After all, as long as she lived she could not afford to buy a hairdryer. She also dried her hair like that most of the time. However, Selena didn't want to rebel. She agreed to sit on the carpet as her mother sat on the sofa behind her. Selena stared at the television that was playing her favorite cartoon, Molang. She felt awkward
"What do you mean you can't find them at all?!" Derek snapped. He had tried to find any trace of Selena and Axel, but there was nothing left. How Selena and Axel had simply vanished, disappearing from circulation made him grunt in annoyance. He couldn't find them at all. Arsella stared at her father blankly. Somehow she felt very empty just because of the fact that Selena was currently missing with Axel. And Damian didn't move to look for them at all. It was rumored that Damian was busy taking care of his company and business. Even that afternoon, Damian was enjoying his time exercising at the gym. Knowing that this was supported by Damian as well, there was nothing they could do at all. *** "What did you do when you lived with your father?" asked Sabrina while looking at Selena who was eating her food quietly. "I just wasted his money. I shopped for things I wanted, I did everything I couldn't do before," Selena replied while enjoying her food. "M
"What do you mean you were ra-?" Sabrina was lost for words, she couldn't hear a word Selena said. It wasn't that she didn't know what had happened to Selena. She knew bad things were happening to her and that was the biggest possibility. However, if Damian got his hands on the video too, Sabrina was going to be furious. She gave Selena a serious look. "That bastard," Sabrina swore as she averted her eyes in annoyance. Selena didn't answer her mother at all. She glanced at Axel. Even though the video hadn't reached Axel, Axel had already experienced being there when Damian and Selena did it. It made Selena shudder a little to remember. She also didn't know why she was bringing it up all of a sudden. No, if only Sabrina hadn't talked about the reason why Selena was kidnapped to how she reacted when Damian sent her an email about Selena's kidnapping. *** There was no video. Damian didn't send that video to Axel. Not knowing if she should be relieved or wh
"If you feel discarded, I feel used. However, if you are discarded, then your mother will never find out about your life at all, or donate money to the orphanage. Your mother would not have sent me as an intermediary between you and your mother." Selena gulped. Her expression seemed to soften. This time, she sympathized with Axel who felt used for his mother's needs in providing for Selena."But believe me, I don't envy you at all. Because in my eyes, you're just another person I love. I don't care where you're from, as long as we're not related by blood. We're just like strangers who are destined to meet and fall in love with each other." Axel looked at Selena softly, his gaze hinting at many things, telling Selena that in this world everyone also experienced difficult times and pain. Trembling, Selena caught her breath. This made her melt a little and try to understand Axel's or her mother's position. She tried hard to understand both of their conditions. Howeve
