Merry sounded angry when one of them tried to provoke her. The reason was, she herself did feel rivaled as soon as she heard of the arrival of a girl in the empty room next door. She didn't see her directly, but the words of the other women managed to upset her because of the way they talked about the new girl.

Damian glanced at the angry Merry. And instantly, his desire for Merry tonight just faded away. Damian's moods were volatile, he was sensitive. And he was the laziest to deal with his angry or sulking woman.

"I don't want you anymore for tonight. Rose, go to your room!" Damian stared at the woman who was arguably the quietest among the others, who had finished her meal and was closing the dinner with dessert.

While the others were busy looking at Damian, Rose was still thinking about her own stomach. And for Damian, a woman on a full stomach was the calmest woman. He had learned enough about women in the 28 years he had been alive.

And Damian's words managed to make Merry and the others fall silent. Rose, who was eating dessert, immediately put down her cutlery and got up. She didn't really show her surprise. Rose was also not really involved in Damian's punishment, she was quiet and rather shy. Damian disliked her a little because of her silence.

Damian headed to Rose's room with Rose. Merry stared angrily at Damian there. As gentle and sweet as she was, she was currently angry.

Before entering her room, Damian glanced at the already named room next to Merry's. Selena. He then turned around and approached the room. Rose followed Damian.

Damian opened the door to the room, and could see how Selena was still asleep on the bed. Either sleeping or still unconscious. He was still upset with Selena's behavior earlier. And he closed the door to Selena's room again and glanced at Rose.

"She looks so young. How old is she?" Rose asked.

"20 years old, turning 21 in two months," Damian replied.

"Ah, I see. She's the youngest one here right now," said Rose.

"Are you sad that your youngest title was taken away by her? She's not here to be one of you, my pet. She's our prisoner." Damian chuckled and led her to the room.

"Hahaha, not really. At 24 years old, I feel like I have a little sister. Merry seems to be upset about that girl."

Damian just smiled lazily. Merry, who was 31 years old, clearly felt excluded if Selena really became one of them. But Damian's clear opposition, if Selena was only his prisoner, allowed Merry to calm down a little.

Selena woke up from her sleep that morning. She groaned softly, her throat feeling dry again. Her head was dizzy, she still remembered the pain of the impact she had experienced. It was really bad. The man was merciless and ready to beat up anyone regardless of gender.

"Are you awake?" The maid entered her room, bringing a teapot and glasses.

The maid served Selena a drink. And Selena was about to accept the drink from the stranger. Until she realized as soon as she saw her hands, if she was chained. She thought she could move freely, but it turned out that there were chains binding her to the bed.

"Drink up!" The maid made Selena accept it and Selena immediately drank it with confusion and she looked at the maid suspiciously.

"Where is this? Who are you?" Selena's voice sounded very hoarse.

"In your room, Miss. I'm just a maid, don't mind my name, I probably won't serve you again in the future." The servant acted coldly and then left the room.

And another servant entered, bringing food. Selena frowned as the maid placed the tray on the nightstand and took a folding table to place the food in front of Selena. The waitress helped Selena up, Selena hissed as her head ached.

"Have breakfast first and then take some painkillers."

Selena wrinkled her forehead suspiciously. "It's not poisonous, right?"

The maid didn't answer and sat on the sofa, as if waiting for Selena to eat. Selena stared at the delicious-looking sandwich. The smell of the bacon that was the filling made her hungry too. She quickly devoured it. And as soon as she finished eating, the maid gave her some painkillers.

"This is strange. Yesterday I was treated like a thief, today I'm treated well," Selena protested.

Unfortunately, none of the maid here were friendly to talk to. They were all cold. And left as soon as their job was done. Selena grumbled under her breath.

"What the hell are they doing? Hey, are there still servants outside? My hands are chained, how can I go to the bathroom? Anyone, can anyone hear me?" Selena tried to tighten her voice.

And what she wanted to come didn't, what she didn't want came. Damian entered her room. The maid immediately closed the door from the outside and Selena was shocked to stare at Damian. Yesterday's events had traumatized her somewhat.

"Y-you? What else are you doing here? You're not satisfied with what you did yesterday? You paid me back, we're even now!" said Selena with a sharp look at Damian.

Damian looked at her with no expression on his face. He looked at Selena who sat leaning against the headboard.

"Your boyfriend gave me a reaction that I didn't want. That's why I came here to provoke him further." Damian stood by her bed.

"What? What do you mean?" Selena furrowed her brow and looked at Damian with some fear.

"Your boyfriend said he didn't want to make an exchange between you and my precious things that he has. So I wanted to show him a little bit what I can do with this precious thing of his," Damian said as he reached his hand around Selena's face, and gripped Selena's jawline.

Selena was silent for a moment and snorted.

"You still don't believe me? That means my words are true. Me and him have nothing to do with each other anymore and we're no longer involved with each other. Obviously he won't want to do the exchange you're talking about. I'm nothing in his eyes," Selena retorted.

"But not the way I see your relationship. Don't think that I'm not investigating everything, Selena." Damian shook his head, sticking to what he believed.

"Why do you insist? I told you, there's no point in kidnapping me and treating me badly or well!" Selena pressed irritably.

"Ah, you already think what I did yesterday was bad enough, huh? Actually, it was nothing. It was just a little warning. I'm going to have a little fun with you, to make Axel feel sorry for you."

Damian chuckled softly, his gaze darkening. His smile was horrible too, that's what Selena saw.

And as soon as Damian snapped his fingers, his subordinates entered the room and dragged Selena.

"This time I'm sure Selena won't reject me. I'll propose to her properly," Damian said. "When exactly are you going to propose to Selena?" Hendry looked at Damian with curiosity. Damian was silent as he smiled at the lost ring box. Suffice to say, he had simply forgotten where he kept it. He hadn't paid any attention to it since Selena rejected him. He just forgot about it. Until a few days ago when Damian was about to buy a new ring, he was reminded by Luca that he had bought a ring before for Selena. What's more, Damian was a little confused and thought about how he could know Selena's finger size when he was about to buy a new ring. And it was Luca who struggled to find the ring. That's why Grace planned to take Luca away if they managed to get married, she would take Luca and herself away and find a new job. *** "Today we're going for a walk to the lake. • Become a Prisoner of The Mafia   The Other Side of Doubt

Damian sighed as he walked out of the meeting room and looked down at his phone. There was a message from Selena that made him smile as soon as he saw the photo. The photo Selena sent him made him unable to help but smile. To which he replied to the message. Damian: Adorable. "You're smiling at your phone right now? You don't usually smile at people but you're smiling so sincerely at your phone?" Damian immediately turned to the source of the voice. The voice had too suddenly appeared in his office. It was none other than Hendry who entered his office without permission. Hendry seemed curious as to what made Damian smile like that. Although the biggest possibility he could figure out was Selena. "That's none of your business. What are you doing here? If you came just to ask about Selena again, Selena won't be coming home for a while," Damian sneered. "Ah, I see. It looks like Selena is adjusting to having her mother there." Damian sat back in his chair.

  • Become a Prisoner of The Mafia   Sabrina's Little Girl

In the morning, Selena had just washed her hair and was rubbing her hair with a towel while gazing at the view on her balcony. She was enjoying the fresh air after a warm shower that morning. She looked fresh in her new clothes that were just the right size. Sabrina approached Selena with pleasure. After all, the girl had already shown to open herself up. And that made Sabrina not hesitate to approach Selena directly. "You've already taken a shower. Oh, you shouldn't rub her hair like that with a towel, it would be better to dry it using a hair dryer and give vitamins to your hair. Just a moment, I'll bring everything." Selena looked at her in confusion. After all, as long as she lived she could not afford to buy a hairdryer. She also dried her hair like that most of the time. However, Selena didn't want to rebel. She agreed to sit on the carpet as her mother sat on the sofa behind her. Selena stared at the television that was playing her favorite cartoon, Molang. She felt awkward

  • Become a Prisoner of The Mafia   Misunderstanding

"What do you mean you can't find them at all?!" Derek snapped. He had tried to find any trace of Selena and Axel, but there was nothing left. How Selena and Axel had simply vanished, disappearing from circulation made him grunt in annoyance. He couldn't find them at all. Arsella stared at her father blankly. Somehow she felt very empty just because of the fact that Selena was currently missing with Axel. And Damian didn't move to look for them at all. It was rumored that Damian was busy taking care of his company and business. Even that afternoon, Damian was enjoying his time exercising at the gym. Knowing that this was supported by Damian as well, there was nothing they could do at all. *** "What did you do when you lived with your father?" asked Sabrina while looking at Selena who was eating her food quietly. "I just wasted his money. I shopped for things I wanted, I did everything I couldn't do before," Selena replied while enjoying her food. "M

"What do you mean you were ra-?" Sabrina was lost for words, she couldn't hear a word Selena said. It wasn't that she didn't know what had happened to Selena. She knew bad things were happening to her and that was the biggest possibility. However, if Damian got his hands on the video too, Sabrina was going to be furious. She gave Selena a serious look. "That bastard," Sabrina swore as she averted her eyes in annoyance. Selena didn't answer her mother at all. She glanced at Axel. Even though the video hadn't reached Axel, Axel had already experienced being there when Damian and Selena did it. It made Selena shudder a little to remember. She also didn't know why she was bringing it up all of a sudden. No, if only Sabrina hadn't talked about the reason why Selena was kidnapped to how she reacted when Damian sent her an email about Selena's kidnapping. *** There was no video. Damian didn't send that video to Axel. Not knowing if she should be relieved or wh

  • Become a Prisoner of The Mafia   That Video

"If you feel discarded, I feel used. However, if you are discarded, then your mother will never find out about your life at all, or donate money to the orphanage. Your mother would not have sent me as an intermediary between you and your mother." Selena gulped. Her expression seemed to soften. This time, she sympathized with Axel who felt used for his mother's needs in providing for Selena."But believe me, I don't envy you at all. Because in my eyes, you're just another person I love. I don't care where you're from, as long as we're not related by blood. We're just like strangers who are destined to meet and fall in love with each other." Axel looked at Selena softly, his gaze hinting at many things, telling Selena that in this world everyone also experienced difficult times and pain. Trembling, Selena caught her breath. This made her melt a little and try to understand Axel's or her mother's position. She tried hard to understand both of their conditions. Howeve
