Esmeralda POV

My eyes turned red with anger and my entire body lit up with so much rage, I wasn’t in control of my body or anything I did again. The entire room seemed to have gotten smaller with the tension that soaked up in it.

“Who is she?” I asked, my voice low but packed with so much underlying fury.

Killian stepped away from her immediately, seeming to have just gotten out of something similar to a trance.

“What are you doing here, Miranda?” He asked her, looking both shocked and angry at the same time.

“Who the f*ck is she? And why did she jump on you like that?” I asked again, growling hard as my wolf sneaked through.

Killian turned to look at me immediately, “She was my best friend, she left the pack a long time ago. Trust me, she’s not anyone relevant to me.” He said.

I looked at the lady to see her scrutinizing me with hex eyes. She didn’t look familiar at all, and just merely looking at her, I knew she was trouble. The way she looked at me had a lot to say to that.
