LOGINAgila's POV Ademon bends and checks the pulse of his favourite witch. He doesn't look as angry as I had anticipated."It's dead. Drag it out," he orders his warlocks. "You . . . did this? What did you use to kill her?" Prince Ethan asks. Ademon's gaze is now focused on me as well, and I can tell that he is suspicious. He must be wondering what powers I possess that would help me kill a powerful witch. I do not want him to start asking questions now. The survival of my mates and friends depends heavily on him believing my lies. I need him to think thatI only tell the truth. I can do that in this case since the good spider is already gone. They cannot hurt him. "I . . . I didn't. She was bitten by a spider," I answer. "Your Lies are getting annoying. Clearly you do not care about your mates as much as you made people to believe," Ademon says. He strides farther forward and picks up the doll that the witch had stabbed with her knife. "Zora had lost her mind. There is no loss in h
Agila's POV My mind was tired enough to fall asleep despite the fear and misery it had undergone. Ademon promised to punish my tortured mates for my lying. I feel horrible because my fear of a spider will cause them more pain. And I fell asleep before figuring out a way to save them.I start to roll out of the messy bed and realize something strange. Who covered me with a single blanket? I did not intend to fall asleep so I did not cover myself. I just laid on to of the beddings. So how comes a single blanket was carelessly pulled to cover my body? I didn't hear anyone opening the door since Ademon left. And a person would have done a better job at covering me because there should have been a sheet between me and the blanket. And the toes of one of my feet were left uncovered. So who tried covering me with a single blanket?I feel something warm and hairy brush against my legs under the blanket. I pull the blanket off me. My heart nearly stops at the sight of the big spider hugging
Agila's POVI would have been braver if Ademon was the one walking in, but the huge, red spider nearly makes my heart stop. My body shakes and sweats instantly. A deafening wail escapes my throat. Above all things I am afraid of, spiders have always held the topmost rank. The one making it's way in is the most gigantic I have ever seen. I do not think, I scream and run. The ugly thing follows me, faster than I thought it's legs can move. I climb over the dresser. The spider creeps up the smooth wood to get to me. I jump down and almost break my legs, then leaps towards the door. The dresser falls and the spider climbs off it. Once again, it rushes towards me. I bang my fists on the door and scream for help. I hear footsteps but the spider is too close. So I run towards the bathroom, falling twice before getting to the small room. I close the door right before the creature gets to it. It's front legs wave under the door as the massive insect attempts to squeeze through the tiny spa
Agila's POVAdemon paces in front of us, breathing like a vicious dragon about to burn everything. "If these bastards wanted to give up the crown they would have done so long before I conquered them. If their consent is what I need, I will torture them until they worship me like their god," he says. That's no way to gain consent. I wonder if he misunderstood my lie or he just can't accept that things didn't turn out the way he had hoped. At least he is not beheading them right now. "If they grant you their consent then change their minds at any point, the crown will reject you again," the old seer cautions. Ademon glares at him. "Punish his stupid mouth! I want him whipped like a thief!" he orders his guards. The men drag away the old man, some kicking his back and slapping his head. He was beyond wise and brave. If this horror ever ends with the heads of my mates still attached, I will advise them to reward him heavily for supporting them at the worst time possible. "Lock them
Agila's POV The old seer gets dragged fast through the door and down the path towards us. The guards forces him to knees in front of Ademon who now sits on one of the thrones of my mates. Allen was dragged away to the cells where his torture will start. His options are awful. Whatever he chooses, death is involved. Torture to death is terrifying, but not worse than having your soul bound forever to a woman you never loved and dying anyway. The old man's face loses all hope after seeing my bound and tortured mates. What is left to fight for when the Kings have been conquered?"Your Queen claims that you and your fellow seers carried out a ritual to ensure that I would never wear my father's crown without suffering ba curse. You better tell me that she was lying," Ademon says to the old seer. The old man doesn't tremble in fear like everyone else. He looks back at me but I cannot tell him what to say in the presence of our enemies. He looks back at Ademon. "She speaks the truth. We
Agila's POV"She claims that the seers carried out a ritual to forbid me from taking the crown. That they have made sure that only the bastards who got my father's consent to wear the crown can do so," Ademon reports to his warlocks and witches. Their tired eyes reflect disappointment. "That is not possible. No rightful ritual can bar the true heir of King Adiran from taking his father's crown," one of the witches argues. Ademon is quiet for a long moment. I imagine he isn't eager to let them know that there is a huge possibility that he is not King Adiran's son either."I will not take a risk and end up giving the bastards an opportunity to reclaim the throne," he states. "Bring their seers. They will undo their ritual and the crown will be safe for me to wear," he orders. "Yes My Lord," his followers agree in unison. Five soldiers rush away to carry out his orders. My lie will not hold long as the seers will let them know that they had not caring out such a ritual. I imagine he
Agila's POV I heard screams of someone that sounded like Irina minutes ago, fighting guards from putting her in a cell. But the cherished Queen of the Alpha Kings wouldn't be getting dragged in here. She won over me by all means. I must have been hallucinating. Which wouldn't be surprising conside
Alpha Alcott's POV "We must force her to grant us the love genuine love of her heart," I answer. "What?" "I mean we need to use forceful words. She gave up our mate bond when we threatened her with a shameful execution. She doesn't want to die. We will demand that she love us in exchange of bein
Alpha Alcott's POV "That scheming traitor!" I curse out loud. "He knew the truth and chose to keep it from us."Reid says nothing for a long time. Is he not upset over our beta's attempt to secretly save our mate while hiding the truth from us?"If she forgave our beta after all he did to her, don
Alpha Reid's POV My heart literally skips a beat at the words of the Warlock. Did I hear him right? He knows who our true mate is. It turns out that we will only torture our witch Queen to confirm his claim. Then we will search for our true mate and she will restore our powers. Our witch Queen wi
