Chapter 18
It was already the morning. When I woke up, I looked at the clock and saw that it was still early. It was 5 A.M. I have no idea why I woke up. But maybe it was because of my thoughts which couldn’t leave my mind. I was geeting much more agitated.
I got up and went to the balcony to breathe fresh air and to analyze everything that had happened.It was cool outside. I could feel soft wind hitting my bare parts of the body. I felt shivers down my spine, but I didn’t want to go inside. It was satisfying to feel cold.My phone started beeping. There were new messages from Jeremy and Steven. I opened Jeremy’s texts and read themGood morning! Are you okay? I just feel so bad and hope that you will break off that deal.
Good morning! I’m okay, really! Don’t worry about me. You shouldn’t feel bad, Jer. I won’t break off that deal because I am sure that nothing bad will happen!
