14 hours before the party:

I was in the dark basement.

“Hello!” I called, but nobody answered. “Is anybody here?” I continued going through some dark, narrow corridor.

 “Kylie...” I heard whispers.

 “Who is here?” I asked.

“Kylie, don’t be scared! I’m here!” the voice echoed in my ears.

I didn’t say anything.

“Kylie! Kylie! Stop! Don’t listen! Don’t go! It’s a trap!” I heard my mom’s voice.
