Chapter Seventeen

I smiled immediately when I saw him there, as I slowly walked into the dining room. He also looked up at me immediately. I had my seat, and I gave him another smile which he also returned.

We were served breakfast and ate before finally leaving. I went straight to my room after that and my mind went to him again, as I felt like going over to him.

I went to his room, but found it empty,as I frowned immediately. "Where did he go?" I asked no one in particular, as I slowly turned around and went back to my room.

HUNTER TORRES POV

I was in the office with Connor when my mind went to my mate, and how we had both talked to each other the previous night, and even how she had slept in my room.

I really wanted to see her again, even though I just saw her a few minutes ago in the dining room. But I really can't help it, I really enjoyed all the conversation we both had the previous night, and I want another one.
