Chapter Eighteen

I couldn't explain how I was feeling at the moment. But I know I felt kinda sad within. Hunter isn't sure of his feelings for me. I felt displeased with this. But I can't let him know this.

With a light smile spreading across my face, I said, "It's understandable Alpha. I get how you feel."

My eyes fell on the ground, before looking right back at him again. He had his eyes on me. It made my heart glow.

I felt my heart racing within me. I had a crazy thought running within me. Voices prompting me to hold him close for a kiss. What if I kiss him and I ask him once again about his feelings? It's possible that he'll give me a clear answer.

"What are you thinking?" I questioned myself. Finding that idea to be silly. It'll look like I'm forcing him.

"Sorry?" Hunter asked me.

I didn't realize that I had voiced that out. I gasped and apologized to him. Telling Hunter that I wasn't talking to him. "It's a mistake. I was thinking about something," I explained to myself.
