Chapter Twenty One

EMMA'S POV

The night sky glowed beautifully with the help of the moon. I sat outside my home, staring at the stars that glowed brightly around it.

My parents were inside the house, having a couple of times to themselves. I just came outside to stay on my own for some time.

We've been having so much fun as a family all day, but it's time for me to head back to my new home. My home with Hunter.

Still feels funny to me though. This is someone I never liked at the beginning, but now... It's just a different story to me.

I smiled, thinking of how things will be between both of us in the near future. I hope everything ends perfectly well for us both.

"He did say he'll pick me up tomorrow. I'll get him something nice for allowing me to come over to my parents place," I suggested.

Staying a few minutes more outside, I soon went into the house for dinner. Once I was done eating, I decided to head to my room to rest.

But my parents suggested one more family time together before I retire to bed.
