Chapter 14. Throwing Targets

Langdon was standing with his back against the wall. Both outstretched arms were bound with duct tape to two furniture hooks. What made him even more immobile was a small jar placed on his head. It looked like the man had become some sort of throwing target for Cade’s twins.

“Sir, I can’t move. This urn....” Langdon gestured with his eyeballs moved upwards. The slightest mistake he made, the antique urn would fall and break into pieces.

Cade could only sigh helplessly at the sight of his children’s handiwork. Perhaps Fay Willmer’s presence in this place would be able to control the situation a little more. Though he wasn’t too sure. The girl didn’t seem to like children very much.

After removing the duct tape from his assistant’s arm, Cade returned to the living room. Langdon hurried to say goodbye to his boss and didn’t dare to glance at Mike and Mika.

The two boys just giggled at Langdon’s fleeing behavior.
