"Had a rough night, baby?"
Destiny staggered back and raised her gaze, wondering why the man would suddenly talk to her in that manner and refer to her as 'baby.'

He was in a conversation with a man who has his back facing her but not for longer.
He turned to Destiny and they both frowned at each other."What did he just say?" Richard inquired sharply.
She looked at Wilhelm then back to Richard. 'Baby?' Slowly, realization dawned on her. In front of her is her new reality. She had to fall into character when she was less ready.
"I should be picking you up henceforth." Wilhelm padded to her and caressed her cheeks with the pad of his thumb. "Get rid of the astounded look and start acting." He whispered underneath his breath.
