Chapter 3

"Are you fucking stalking me now?" Destiny bellowed even in her drunk state.

"Hell no!"

"Then you must've come here with your slut, isn't it Richard?" Destiny giggled.

"No. I—I came to pick you." Richard stammered.

"You stalked me then. You good for nothing cheater. My family gave you everything and made you who you are today. Destiny Blackmore, the picky princess even accepted you. Did you know how so damn lucky you were?"

"I messed up. I know. But you have to hear me out."

"Just fuck off. I don't want to ever see your pathetic face." She stumbled past him.

"Allow me to take you home at least."

"No. I don't need your help."

"You're wasted, Destiny."

"That's not your business." She snapped.

Richard fast-paced to catch up with her. "It is. I owe it to your grandfather."

That did work on Destiny but she knows better than let him use her grandfather to get her to agree with him.

"What is going on here? Is there any help I could give?"

Destiny looked up from where the voice came from. Standing in front of them a few steps from the entrance was Wilhelm Grey cladded in an expensive looking gray suit.

He walked to them majestically as if he owned the place.

His eyes swept over Destiny swiftly then to Richard when he stopped.

"Mind your business, Wilhelm," Richard warned.

"This is my business and you fucking know it."

"Just leave us be," Richard replied.

"I didn't think I'll see you two here. Guess the differences have been sorted now?" Wilhelm glance at Destiny as if expecting a reply from her. "I was certain that's why I thought you might need help."

"Just go!" Richard yelled irritatingly.

Wilhelm raised his brows, suddenly amused. “I bet your differences haven’t been sorted after all.” He turned to her.

"Do you need a ride, Mrs. Davidson?"

"Ms. Blackmore, Mr. Wilhelm." She corrected.

Wilhelm got the full hint. "Do you need a ride?"

"I'm here to take her home, Mr. Grey. Don't act blind."

Destiny's aim was to cast both of them to hell from her sight but she chose to tie her tongue. She began to walk away when a lady in a silver dress caught her eyes. The disco lights made her dress sparkle more. It was the same person that caught her eyes when she was focused on the retreating form of Arabella.

It was no stranger. Destiny realized she was coming to them and quickly turned to face the entrance.

"Hi, baby." Rebecca's voice slurred. From the corner of Destiny's right eye, she could see Rebecca's hand wound around Richard's waist from the back.

"You crazy woman, let me go!" Richard fought Rebecca off his body.

Destiny glanced at them silently then looked back to Wilhelm and began to compare them. They were no good but she has seen her husband's assistant with him again. She decided to go with Wilhelm to hurt him.

"Take me home." It was more of a command.

Wilhelm quirked his brow. "You said?"

"Take me home please."

Wilhelm smiled in satisfaction. Destiny was too wasted and tired to say or do anything.

Rebecca stepped away from Richard when she recognized Destiny or maybe got a hint why Richard was pushing her away. It was too late though.

"My pleasure, Tiny."

Destiny glared at him. She hates it when he calls her Tiny and she feels he knows it but chooses to annoy her on purpose.

Wilhelm stretched his arm and took Destiny's hand into his.

Richard charged forward "You bastard.."

"If you know what's good for you then stay back." Destiny stopped him on time. She looked up at Wilhelm and asked. "Shall we go?"

Wilhelm nodded with lips drawn in a thin line.

Wilhelm had that amused face even when they got in the car. Destiny looked in the mirror to see Rebecca and Richard talking. He seems to be screaming and the lather's face was remorseful.

She looked away and caught that amused face of Wilhelm. "Don't get it wrong or start being so full of yourself. You knew why I asked you to do this."

"I know but is it fair?" He asked in a serious tone.

"You don't seem to mind. You enjoy it. I know."

"You mean the kiss?" He smirked.

Destiny rolled her eyes then let her head fall back against his leather seat.

"Home?"

"Yeah." She wouldn't have allowed him to drive home her if she has not told the driver that drove them here not to wait for them. Also, strongly because of Richard.

"Looks like your husband has no shame or conscience. Did you see the other woman?"

Destiny raised her brows at him in disapproval . "I didn't know you were a gossip too."

"Only trying to sympathize with you."

"Just shut up. I don't want to keep talking to you and I don't need your sympathy whatsoever."

"Oh really."

"Yes, and I didn't mean my words at the office. That stunt you pulled should clear the fuck off from your skull. There's no way in hell I'm gonna employ you to work for me."

When he didn't say anything, Destiny turned to look at him. His expression was unreadable and he was staring straight ahead. Destiny wondered if he heard her or not.

"Did you hear me?"

Wilhelm spared her a sharp glance but he didn't say anything.

She chose to keep mute and keep the anger of being ignored to herself. It's better for them this way.

He pulled to a stop in front of her mansion and Destiny looked out, surprised. She didn't give him her address or location, did she?

"How did you know where I live?"

He doesn't look like he has any intention of answering her. " I will let this go. Consider it your birthday gift."

"What are you saying?"

His full lips stretched a fraction. "Goodnight, Tiny."

"Do you mind explaining yourself?"

"You're drunk. How would you understand?"

Destiny knows that he has a point but her senses are still intact. "I don't drink away my senses, Mr. Grey."

He shrugged. "Do you want me to get the door for you too?"

She glared at him, reached for the door handle and staggered out. What a nice way to kick her out?

"Happy birthday, Destiny."

Instead of responding, Destiny banged the door and left. However, she noticed that for the first time since she met him, he didn't call her Mrs. Davidson or Tiny. He called her Destiny.

She managed to get into her room without her grandfather knowing. She locked the door to make sure that Richard doesn't get in Incase he comes. She collapsed on the bed afterward.

The next day, after treating her hungover, Destiny packed all of her husband's belongings and made the servants carry them downstairs.

"What's happening here Destiny?" Her grandfather asked.

"I'm kicking Richard out of our house." She simply said as if it was no big deal.

"For what reason?"

"Cheat." She breathed. "He cheated on me."

"I don't know but this is not how we go about it. Let us talk about this sweetheart."

"No. And you're not going to stop me, Granny. You know I don't act without a solid reason."

Her grandfather eyed her. "You're being a rebel again. I asked that we talk about it."

"Fine." She dropped the last luggage she was holding roughly to the floor.

She dropped on the couch in the living room. Her grandfather sat across from her.

"Now talk to me. You left the house happily to see Richard is that not so?."

Destiny sighed and narrated everything to her grandfather but left out the part she kissed Wilhelm and made him the next CEO.

"I can't believe he did that." Dennis Blackmore was surprised after Destiny told her what Richard did.

"Before I hear his side of the story, what else do you plan to do apart from throwing him out?"

"I will divorce him and strip him of his title. He'll never belong to our family again, Grandpa."

"Have you perhaps heard of second chances?"

"I would've if it existed in my dictionary."

"Allow me to talk to him first then if there's anything to be done, you do it." He reasoned.

"I won't sit idle. I'll call our lawyer to process the divorce. I have a feeling the asshole I told to do it is not going to do it.”

"What? Take it easy Destiny." Dennis begged.

"Where's Richard by the way?"

"I have no idea and I don't care." Destiny got up to leave.

"Wait, I'll call him."

Just then, She saw Richard walk in. He wore a red shirt and black pants. He looked good even in something as simple as that. She remembered she saw him at the club with Rebecca and concluded that they spent the night together. Her anger rose.

"Speak of the devil." She said and Dennis looked behind.

"Grandpa," Richard called. He frowned when he saw his belongings lined up in the living room.

"You're taking this too far Destiny." Richard gritted out.

"Am I the one who cheated and had the guts to go to the club with the other woman even after I found out?"

"I'm not talking about us now," Richard responded. He closed his eyes for a moment then opened them. "It's about Blackmore corporation."

"What about it?" Dennis asked worriedly. All his life, he has worked his ass off to get it to where it is now.

"Ask Destiny."

Dennis whisked his gaze to his granddaughter, waiting for her to tell him something but Destiny couldn't talk.

"Explain to your grandfather what you did, Destiny."

Destiny knows she has told Richard that he's no longer needed at the corporation but no legal actions have been taken to back it yet so she didn’t feel guilty.

"For now, I haven't done anything. I'm yet to."

"Oh, so you did not appoint Wilhelm Grey as the next CEO?"

"I did but it hasn't been implemented."

"Then what the fuck is he doing at the office right now?"

"Huh?" Destiny is shocked.

"What's going on here. Who did you appoint and without my knowledge, Destiny?" Dennis asked sternly, getting on his feet.

"Don't mind this loser. I'll go check personally."

"Finding out is just a call away. No need to be there." Richard pointed out but Destiny ignored him. The few minutes she spent with Wilhelm taught her that the man was persistent and stubborn.

And if he's indeed at the office, she has to be there to uproot him.

Destiny rushed inside to get dressed. After some minutes, she came out to meet Richard and her grandfather in a deep discussion.

Whatever decision that will come out of it, Destiny knows she won't change or adjust her decision towards Richard.

"I'll be back granny." She kissed him on both cheeks, glared at Richard contemptuously, and stormed out like a soldier out to war.
