CHAPTER SIX: CURIOUSITY KILLED THE CAT

Desmond

“When were you ever going to tell me that you took one of my men on a rendezvous without my permission?”

Kennedie’s eyes widened slightly; she looked like a mouse that had just been caught stealing cheese.

“H-own did you find out?” she stuttered.

“W-well, it is my house, so obviously I know everything that goes on… come on, little menace, I mean, you can’t be that stupid,” I said mimicking hr. and she rolled her eyes.

It was so easy to rile her up.

“Well, master, I did not know that Graham was going to be a freaking snitch,” she said.

I know she was just mocking me, but holy fucking goddess, it did things to me.

I was up and in my face before I could even think.

“What did you just call me?” My voice had dropped an octave, and I was losing control.

She swallowed, and my gaze followed the movement of her throat, and there were her wide doe eyes…

Haply heavens, what was this woman doing to me?

“Well, umm…. Since that's what G-Graham called you, I-I was just joking,” she squeaked.

I took a strand of her hair and wrapped it around my index finger. “Be careful of what you say, little mouse, or you might just face the consequences.”

She nodded her head, “Yes, sir.”

I growled

Fucking hell, this woman was going to be the death of me.

“I will be right back,” I said and stormed away towards my room without a second look back. A little longer, and I would have lost control and claimed her the way my instincts were telling me to.

But she could not find out.

And either way, it was never going to be possible anyway. I did not want a mate, I did not want a partner. All love ever did was hurt.

I rushed to my room, my heart pounding in my chest like it was about to explode.

I usually had more fucking control than this, so I was finding it pretty hard to understand what was actually happening to me.

It was like I had no single ounce of self-control when it came to this woman.

I needed release, more than I needed air at this point.

The moment I was in my room, I zipped down my fly and wrapped my hand around my dick.

I stroked myself slowly at first, savoring the sensation, my other hand pinching my nipple through my shirt, loving the rough friction. I could not help but close my eyes and imagine that it was her hands on me, making me feel good.

Her mouth, her big doe eyes… What will her lips feel like wrapped around my cock? How warm will it be?

Damn, I wanted this woman, but I knew that it was fucking impossible.

I was only going to keep her safe and help her to get revenge; that was all.

“Fuuuuuuck”

Would she be tight bouncing on me? Her tits would fit so perfectly in my palms. How loud would she scream? What face would she make when she orgasmed?

I rubbed faster and tugged at the tip, pinching my piercing while my other hand slid down to massage my balls.

I was losing control of myself.

My eyes had gone pitch black, and my canines were down, biting into my lower lip and drawing blood.

I was close, my body tensing.

I could feel the orgasm building, the pressure in my balls.

Kennedie, she was pure sin.

Sent to tempt me for some sin that I had committed in my past life.

“Fuck baby-”

Cum poured out of me into my palm in ropes into my palm.

“Damn”

It was low, but I heard it followed by the footsteps rushing away.

That damn minx, she knew what happened.

I cleaned up before I went to find her.

Why was I even doing that? I had no idea. Besides, I did not care; I was a catch with an extremely sexy body and even better skills.

Again, I was not proud, just extremely self-aware.

She was in her room, under her covers, with her eyes closed while holding her breath.

I smirked, “I know that you are not sleeping,” I said, but she didn’t budge, just held the duvet tighter.

“Are you going to open your eyes or should I come over there?” I asked.

Still silent.

I scoffed, “I am going to count to five,” I said.

“Five” I took one step into her room “four”, I walked even closer “three”, closer “two”… “One-”

She shot out of bed. “I am up god dam nit,” she said, panicked.

She stared at my chiseled chest, and she was suddenly speechless, her mouth hanging open like a fish on land.

She sat upright and raised the duvet to the top of her neck, hoping that it would be able to protect her from me.

I smirked, cute.

She cleared her throat, “Why did you assume that I was not sleeping?” she asked, tipping her chin up stubbornly at me. Like I could not see how flustered she was.

“Well, because little mince it’s only dead people that don’t breathe when their eyes are closed.”

“Oh”

She was so dumb that it was funny.

“Now to the actual reason that I am here, Kennedie,” I said.

She gulped. She was as pale as a ghost.

“I didn’t see anything!” she said immediately.

I folded my arms and walked closer to her. “Do you know what killed the cat, Kennedie?” I asked.

She didn’t reply, just looked up at me like there was nothing that she could say.

I decided that I would help her out.

I moved closer to her and bent down a bit so that I was eye level with her.

“W-what are you d-doing?” she asked, her eyes looking panicked.

I grabbed a lock of her hair. “Curiosity, little mouse… it was curiosity that killed the cat,” I said.

I stood up straight and folded my arms. “Since you are going to be living under my roof, soon we are going to have to set ground rules,” I said.

She just nodded.

“Good”

I walked to the door and turned back with a small smirk, “You can go back to sleeping, just don’t suffocate,” I said.

As I closed the door, I heard what she said.

“Fucking limp dick asshole”

Oh, how I would love to prove her wrong.

CHAPTER SEVENTY: I AM NOT AFRAID OF YOU Desmond I had replayed this moment over and over in my head for over a million times. And in each of my predictions, there was no positive outcome from telling Kennedie the truth, not one.I mean it would be stupid to think it would go any other way, like I could just be like “Hey Princess, I am actually a werewolf… yes, the myths are fucking true” and she would go “that’s great news baby” with the brightest o smiles and then we would probably share a kiss or something.Of course not!But what I did not expect was for her to pass out like that. Before she could fall to the ground, I was back in my human form and I had her in my arms, eyes wide with panic.I tapped her face gently “Princess, wake up- please baby open your eyes.”It was only a few seconds, but it felt like a lifetime, and with each that passed I was slowly losing my sanity. And just when it felt like I was about to snap, she finally opened her eyes.“Are you alright Princess?”

CHAPTER SIXTY NINE: THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENINGKennedieThe car ride was deathly silent.I had picked my nails so much that I injured one of them and they were bleeding. Desmond just handed me a tissue small band aid to stop the bleeding “I already told you to stop doing that”I just squeaked out a small ‘thank you’Minutes passed, still silence with only a soft song playing from the radio ‘Feelings’ by Lauv. It seemed like we were never getting there, wherever we were going. And I was beginning to feel uneasy. My legs began shaking on their own “when are we getting there” I asked again.I had asked this question over twenty times in the last two hours, but the uncertainty was killing me.“Soon” he responded calmly. His voice was soothing, but it was beginning to get on my nerves how chill he was about the entire situation. “Where are we even going?” I asked, even though I should be used to the fact that he was never going to tell me directly, just his usual vague answers.“You will f

That was her tell, a bad habit of hers that always showed whenever she was uneasy.“You are going to hurt yourself if you keep doing that” I said walking in.Kennedie jerked placing a hand on her rapidly beating

She absolutely detested the fact that there was werewolf blood in her veins, tainting her.I scoffed “this is the first time that I am seeing a werewolf that hates their own kind” She glared at me “I am not part of your kind” she said, her voice dripping with deadly venom.“What are you then? Because you sure as hell aren’t a human no matter how much you kid yourself” I said. She pushed herself up “I am some weird fucking hybrid that came about simply because my mother had no self-control!” she exclaimed. “I will never be a monster, no matter what I must be able to remove this
