*Scarlett's POV*

Alexander's recent business struggles are still going on and today he seemed tenser, I don't know what happened but he looked like he needed some break. He's been working tirelessly and my efforts to get him to rest had been in vain. But seeing him right now, looking terrible, I knew I had to do something.

"Babe.. you should get some rest," I said as I approached him. He barely took two seconds to glance at me before returning his gaze to his work.

"I want to but I can't," He said, drawing some paperwork to his front which I drew back, away from me and he looked at me with an annoyed look.

"Scarlett.."

"Stop, you look terrible.."

"I know.." He cuts me off. "but that's not what matters. What matters is my company and it looks like it's all going down the drain and I can't allow that" He said and snatched the paper back from me.

"I know but babe at this rate you might collapse"

"Hmm hmm" was his only reply and he went ahead to ignoring me.
