Amos' POV

“I can't let this happen,” I whispered to myself, whatever the witch said, I would confirm later, I just needed to save my people first.

“But why was this smoke and all not affecting me?” I asked myself, only then did I realize that my tattoo, the one that appeared on my hand immediately after I was given the staff of the Alpha had been glowing.

“Let's do this,” I said to Ralph who seemed restless as I transformed.

I felt stronger than I ever was did, and immediately breaking open the door, I searched for Angie and Quinn, I saw them two doors away from me, and I immediately picked them up and threw them on my back.

“Daddy,” Angie whispered as she woke momentarily, they were only affected by the smoke so I was sure they would survive.

“I am right here,” I replied as I took them out of the dungeon.

Waiting outside were some warriors, everyone else had been sent to their houses to ensure their safety.
