CHAPTER 1

ROLLINGS POV (48 HOURS EARLIER)

I woke up to find a hand caressing my naked chest. I looked to see that my mate was staring at me with lust in her eyes. When she saw that I was awake, a smile spread across her lips. I couldn’t help but to return her smile. “Mmm, good morning beautiful.”

She giggled at me, and her hand slowly moved south. “Good morning to you too, handsome.” She said as she wrapped her fingers around my throbbing cock.

I wrapped my hand around hers to stop her movements. I brought her hand up to my mouth and gently kissed her open palm. I closed my eyes, savoring the feeling of the sparks that I feel every time our skins touch. I ran my hand down her arm and gently caressed her shoulder and down to her very pregnant belly. As I splayed my hand over her stomach, I felt movement. It was as if both my pups could sense me. I envied Paulette as she was able to constantly feel our pups moving and I wasn’t able to. I love my bond with them all the same. “You don’t have to do anything this morning if you are not up to it. I can always take care of myself in the shower if need be.”

She shyly smiled at me. “I like taking care of you.” She placed her hand over mine. “They sure do love their daddy.” She giggled as they bumped my hand in agreement.

“Why do you say that?” I asked sarcastically. I knew that they always responded to my touch.

She smiled. “They always go crazy at your touch, and you know that!”

I was about to say something when her stomach let out a loud gurgly growl. She turned her face away in embarrassment and I could not help but laugh. “I suppose the pups are demanding food. Shall we get breakfast?”

She nodded and we both headed towards the shower to start our day. I stepped into the shower behind Paulette and when she moved away from the spray my skin immediately turned red and I hissed at the sting of the temperature.

She looked at me and smirked. “Oh, please don’t tell me that you can’t handle slightly warm water?!”

I looked at her incredulously. “That is f**king scalding hot water, not slightly warm!”

She just smiled as she turned the temperature down before stepping out of the shower. “Whatever you say, baby.”

Mate must be more than a simple human! I can’t even handle water that hot! My wolf commented.

I know right!

“Babe, I will go down and start breakfast, that is if Rae-Rae hasn’t already beaten me to it.” She said as she left the bathroom.

I smiled to myself as I remembered the constant battle of the cooks between two pregnant women! Ever since my best friend and my alpha, Braxton, knocked up his mate. She has been having some very weird cravings and she is only 16 weeks into her pregnancy!

I felt sorry for Brax, he would go crazy with all of the cravings! Especially since they are all just beginning! I quickly finished my shower and headed into the walk-in closet once I had dried off. I pulled on a pair of boxers, dark denim jeans, a fitted black T-shirt and a pair of biker boots. I quickly make my way downstairs to the kitchen where I am joined by Braxton and Christian.

I smiled at them. “Morning boys.”

Braxton laughed. “Morning to you also.” He then headed down to the kitchen. From the commotion I can hear, I know that all three of our mates are all in the kitchen.

“Morning to you too, bro.” Christian said as he slapped me on the back.

“How is the little princess?” I asked.

I saw Chris grin from ear to ear. “You know how Celeste is…she has us wrapped around her little finger!” He chuckled as he hurried towards the kitchen.

I stood there in the doorway and couldn’t help but to smile at myself. My life has been blessed and I could not have been happier. I saw Chris, one of my best friends, sitting at the table next to his mate, Sam. I have never seen Chris this happy, and I am so thankful to the moon goddess that she paired him up with Samantha. She was an amazing female warrior and a very strong Gamma. She is everything that Christian needs in a mate.

“So, help me BRAXTON…if you steal my food again…!”

I grin from ear to ear as my other best friend’s mate and our Luna, glowering at her mate, Alpha Braxton! Rae is a spit-fire red head that has been through hell and back since her mother died when she was only 16 years of age. Apparently, Braxton had stolen a piece of her numerous slices of bacon that were on her plate! He had a mischievous smile plastered on his face, his wolf obviously not shying away from the challenge that she had just issued. “Tell me, my love, what will you do if I don’t stay away from your food?”

I saw Rae’s eyes flash to that of her wolf, Luna. I then saw a paring knife levitate in the air and slowly approach Braxton as they glared at each other for about 5 minutes. Rae then threw her hands up in the air and let out an exasperated sigh. “FINE! Go ahead and take food from your pups!”

I walked over to the empty barstool in between my mate and Braxton. I kissed my mate’s temple then leaned towards my friend. “You do realize that it is NEVER a good idea to come between a pregnant woman and her food! Especially a she-wolf that is pregnant with triplets and a red head!”

“A she-wolf that has insane powers to boot!” Chris chimed in.

We all laughed at his statement. “Good morning, Luna, how is the morning sickness?” I asked, concerned. I remember when Paulette started to have morning sickness, it was brutal to have to see her uncomfortable.

She smiled at me. “How many times do I have to tell you, when we are in here it is only Rae?” She asks me this every time.

I wrapped my left arm around Paulette’s waist as she munched on her fruit bowl. I quirked an eyebrow at her. “What, no bacon this morning?”

She shyly shook her head. “No, I wanted a light breakfast before we head out.”

I looked around confused, only to see both Chris and Braxton also had a look of confusion on their faces as well. It was only then that we realized that both Sam and Rae were tensed up. I focused on my mate, who was suddenly uncomfortable. “What is it that the three of you are hiding?”

Sam immediately lowered her head to her plate. Paulette began to fidget with her fingers.

“We are going to the next town over and going to the mall there to shop for more clothes for myself and Paulette, since she won’t be able to fit into anything she currently has much longer. I am getting fatter as we speak, so I need clothes that I can wear during this insane pregnancy!” Rae said. She looked around and saw all of our angry faces. Luna flashed in her eyes, telling us she was close to surfacing. “If you all have ANY problems with that, speak now!”

There is so much tension in the air that it is suffocating! After about 10 minutes, the tension subsides slightly. Braxton finally spoke. “I have no problem as long as you take some warriors with you.”
