Chapter 53 - Sarael
I wish Khalid hadn’t stormed out. Now I’m not just worried about Isis but him as well. I know he can handle himself, but he’s on werewolf territory, and it’s not like John or his brother have told the pack of his presence, let alone that he was allowed to wander freely. The only thing that kept me from worrying too much about him was that John sent one of my guards to tail Khalid.
“Do you really think Isis will be safe?” I frowned, setting out the take-out.
