Complete chaos. The gunshot rang out across the foyer of the Pack house. We heard screams from the event hall. Screams from around us. The sounds piercing our skulls as wolves had sensitive hearing, we heard things louder than most.
Looking around I see Kate and Colby disengaging Lily from the Alpha. I see Miranda on her knees with blood pouring out of both nostrils. Colby yelled for Alex to help him with the Alpha. Alex had silver cuffs on him and ran to help cuff the Alpha with Colby.

Jared POV It’s been four months since I woke up after the big fight. Things quickly got back to normal. Lily’s pregnancy progressed with many challenges and bed rest, which drove all of us crazy. Rick POV Standing back, I put my hands on top of my head. This has been a long ass night and getting rid of the dead will take more time. Looking at my warriors, I can see they are exhausted, but I am grateful to every one of them for standing with Miranda, her mother and me. As I look at Elder Morris’s body I am saddened to see Miranda’s mother draped over his body. We knew there would be casualties in this war, but you are never prepared for the losses.
