After one hour of bathing, they finally left the bathroom as they wore a bathrobe.

When they got to the bedroom, that was when they realized they didn’t have any clothes to wear.

Harris' clothes were still intact, but Rachel’s own had been torn.

Thinking of it, she felt like crying as she gave an accusing glare at Harris, who just chuckled as he took his phone from the bed stand.

He texted his assistant, and came to join her on the bed.

He saw that she was still sulky, so he hugged her shoulders tightly and said, “don’t be mad at me babe, how about I tell Freda to design another dress just for you?

“That won’t be necessary, besides there’s no occasion to go to”. She told him as she sighed.

“That’s my baby”. He said and pecked her cheeks, making her shy.

“You don’t need to be shy around me”. Harris teased her.

Rachel blushed uncontrollably as she hid her face on his chest just so she could hide her flush face.

Right now, her face was as red as a strawberry.

Freda, who was still lying on the cold floor, felt her body weak and tired. Every part of her ached, but she didn’t have the strength to move. Her head was feeling heavy, due to her cries. She had stayed in that position and waited for hours, hoping it would open and Hilary would come back. But after waiting, he didn’t. The silence in the house felt louder with each passing minute. She didn’t know how much time had passed. All she knew was that her body felt numb, and her chest ached from holding in too many emotions. The pain, the regret, and the fear, was all too much for her to handle.“I’m sorry,” she whispered into the empty room, as if he could hear her. “Please come back.” She said, but no one answered.Soon, her vision became blurry, and just like that, her body gave up.She passed out, lying helplessly on the floor, still waiting for the man she loved.Meanwhile, Hilary was in a completely different state. In the dim light of the private bar room, he sat slumped in a chair.

Seeing his action, she cried loudly, and said “I’m sorry, I really am. I messed up, I know that, but I was trying to protect both of you”. “From what?” he barked angrily. “From me? From the father he never even got to meet? How is that protection?”“I didn’t know how to face it,” she whispered. “I thought I was doing the right thing, that’s why I didn’t try to tell youHilary stared at her and clenched his fist tight, he just didn't know what to say.Right now, he was in pain, and needed to clear his head.Without saying anything to her, he turned away, and muttered with a calm voice “I need to think, I need air.”“Hilary, please.” she reached out to touch him, but he stepped back.“I’m not saying I’m leaving,” he said hoarsely and continued , “But right now, I’m hurt and angry. I don’t want to say something I can’t take back.”With that, he grabbed his keys and walked out, leaving Freda alone.Freda stood there, trembling in the empty room, her hand still half reached out, as if t

Freda facepalmed herself in frustration and let out a long sigh. She looked at Hilary seriously and said, “I know Rapheal is your son, because he just is.” After saying this, she looked at him and waited for his reaction, but Hilary, who was not aware of what she meant, just raised an eyebrow and said. “Very good,” he replied with a sarcastic smirk, watching her closely.Freda frowned her face and asked him. “Why are you staring at me like that?”“I’m listening,” Hilary said calmly, but his eyes were sharp. “What happened to his real father? Is that guy trying to come back into your life or something? I haven’t seen him. Do you have a photo of him? I should know what he looks like in case I run into him.”He fired off the questions quickly, barely giving her time to answer. Freda stared at him, confused and overwhelmed by the sudden interrogation. Her head started spinning. When she didn’t respond, Hilary leaned forward and said. “Well?”Freda glared at him and muttered softly, “Dumm

Freda no longer stayed in her apartment. Now, she lives with Hilary in their big house. When Hilary parked the car in front of their mansion, Freda quickly unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the door.Without waiting for him, she stepped out and walked toward the front door.Hilary watched her, feeling confused. Her steps were quick, and she didn’t say a word.Something was wrong and he could feel it.He wanted to ask her what was bothering her, but she stayed quiet.Hilary hurried to unbuckle his seatbelt and jumped out of the car as he ran to catch up with her.He called softly, “Freda?” But she didn’t answer him as she quietly walked away.Freda walked to the living room and sat down on the couch, still not looking at him.Meanwhile, Hilary stood in the doorway, watching her.“Please, talk to me,” he said gently with a begging tone.He really doesn’t like this mood at all, his spirit was dampened because of her low mood, all he just wanted was to hug her and tell her everything was

Freda, who was done unbuckling her seatbelt reached for the door, but paused and said. “You two go ahead,” she said. “I will wait here.”“You sure?” Hilary asked her.She nodded her head and gave a small smile. “Yeah. Just get the takeaway. I’m fine.” “You don’t need to be worried”. She added.Hilary glanced at her a second longer, then turned to Rapheal. “Alright, come on, buddy.” He said to Rapheal, who nodded his head.Rapheal came down from the car and grabbed his father’s hand. “Don’t forget the sprinkles”. He reminded him as they walked toward the shop.Freda watched them through the windshield, the way Rapheal swung Hilary’s hand, the way Hilary bent to listen when his son pointed something out. She smiled faintly, but it didn’t reach her eyes.As she watched them enter the dessert shop, her chest tightened. She blinked quickly, fighting the sting in her eyes.Every time she saw Hilary with Rapheal so gently, her heart twisted with guilt. She could have come clean with him, bu

As Rachel and Harris were enjoying their sleep peacefully, things were not going well with Hilary and Freda.Three hours earlier, after finishing with work, Hilary drove to Freda’s studio to pick up Freda and Rapheal who were waiting for him.As soon as they got inside the car, Freda gave a small smile and suggested, “Babe, we should drop Rapheal at Mum’s place.”Hilary looked at her with a surprised look. He knew how close Freda was to her son and how worried she was when Rapheal stayed with his family last time.“What is it, babe? Are you okay?” he asked. He was supposed to be happy about the idea. It meant they would be alone at home, just the two of them. But the look on her face didn’t match the good news. Instead, she looked distant, maybe even sad, which made him worried. When she didn’t answer, Hilary sighed and said, “Alright babe, but we need to get Rapheal’s stuff at home first, so I will drive there first.”“There’s no need for that,” Freda replied to him, showing him the
