Prologue

Kill! 

Her mind switched into killing mode after she heard the word. Silver curved dagger sliced on the lycan’s flesh as the sharp end stopped right into the heart. 

It was said that once the man’s mate died, the other half will suffer the pain and will be free from the bond. 

Blood gushes out as the body drops down on the ground, slowly shifting into the human form. She wiped her nose as she walked on the pool of blood. 

Kill!

She reached her head, her eyes bloody red as her mind only thought of killing. Another face switches like an image from a slideshow in her mind. 

Her instinct told her to go out. The smell of cold night, grass, soil and insects enters her nostrils. But she knew that the man was there somewhere. 

Retreat! 

She didn’t stop walking to retreat, as she maneuvers toward the woods. 

Bellatrix, retreat!

She continues ignoring all of the voices from her earpiece.
