Chapter 73 - Wheels in motion

Daisy, Tara and I talked for another hour, Daisy told us everything she knew, which was pretty much everything Dave knew. Apparently though busy, the two of them sit together in private for a couple of hours each day trying to solve this conundrum.
We then went to meet the guys and as we got to Jack's office, Brian and Mark were just leaving, they both bowed their heads to me even though I have told them it isn't necessary when others aren't around, then they scarpered off talking about whether they had a tent, which was odd.
Knocking on the door I waited to be granted entry, I may be his mate and Luna but I believe everybody should be allowed the right to deny access to another should they deem it necessary.

Authors POV -Cassie and Jack talk over the concerns they have regarding Brian and Mark heading out on this mission now that they know what Mark is thinking, but with the leak being out it would be odd for Brian and Mark to not go on this so-called trip they had planned. They decide to send Dave a message and see if he is still awake so they can go over options together and within minutes of sending the message to Dave the phone in Jack’s office lets out a resounding ring. Cassie - “Cr@ck 20 eggs into the mixing bowl, NO Shell! Add a dash of milk, A teaspoon of pepper, And whisk….. Melt some butter in the pan and pour.” If I focus on these steps, I might make it through the morning. I can’t mess up the eggs again. They will never let me live it down.
