Chapter 44

DANIEL

  Daniel jolted awake from his sleep with his eyes ranging about the room donned in dark green paint. He first reviewed the gray bed sheet he was currently sitting up on as if the colour and scent wasn't the same like he remembered. To his right was a large wooden wardrobe leaning against the wall. Meters away from the furniture was a wooden door locked;one he presumed was his bathroom. To the right was a medium sized window with the curtains parted to the clip by the wall revealing the beautiful ray of light that illuminated his room. Apart from his bedside stand,the medium size bed,the black ceiling fan that rolled at an overwhelming speed,the wardrobe,the black tiles,his room was scanty. Exactly how he remembered. His focus diverted to the conversation coming from the Parlour.  He assumed quickly his Father was probably with a visitor. His mind wandered to his little sister Adejoke. He wondered what mischief she was up
