Chapter 35

Mia’s Point of View

Mia ran as fast as she could, her heart pounding in her chest. She had to find Alexandria and stop her from destroying her people's homes. She had to save them. Mia ran towards the spot where the last explosive had happened. She could see the smoke rising in the distance and the flames licking the sky. She knew she was getting closer.

As she got closer, she could see Alexandria walking past her people's homes, setting them on fire one by one. Mia's heart sank as she watched the destruction unfold. She had to do something. Mia ran faster, determined to catch up to Alexandria. She had to make her stop. She had to save her people.

“Alexandria! Stop this madness! This is your home, why are you doing this?” I asked trying to catch my breath.

Alexandria stopped in her tracks. She let out a giggle, as she turned around her giggles started to turn into a loud laughter. She turned to face Mia, her smile stretching from one ear to the other.
