Chapter 3 :The Beginning of the Meeting

Chapter 3: The Beginning of the Meeting

Hanna blinked her eyes trying to adjust the light entering her retina. Her vision was still blurry for a while. Moments later, Hanna was able to get a clear view of the place.

“Where am I?” Hanna muttered to herself. She felt confused as to why she was in this place.

Hanna got up from her sleeping position and leaned on the bed. Because of Hanna’s sudden movement of sitting up from a lying position, the girl’s head felt a little throbbing, as well as her neck.

Hanna massaged her forehead gently to make the pain disappear. As soon as the pain subsided, Hanna began to focus on looking at her current situation.

Hanna scanned herself first. She just realized that she was currently in a soft bed that could only be owned by the rich. In the past, this bed could only be seen in the storefront when Hanna was working as a part-time employee at a famous mall two months ago.

Hanna observed her body wrapped in a black nightgown with a very soft material that fit her petite body. Hanna looked to the left side of her head and saw a large window decorated with light blue curtains. The curtains dangled nicely with lilies as the motif.

Her hazel irises circled as she observed the place that felt unfamiliar to her. In the room, Hanna saw some fancy-looking antique ornaments mounted on the walls, such as a deer head and a wolf headdress made of wood. Hanna shuddered in horror at the wolf headdress and preferred not to look at it again. Her eyes also caught sight of a medium-sized makeup table that was filled with various kinds of makeup equipment.

Next to the makeup table was a sizable bookshelf filled with a wide variety of books of different types and sizes. If only Hanna knew who the owner of this room was then she would ask permission to borrow the books on the shelf.

While engrossed in exploring the contents of the room, a young woman wearing a light gray suit suddenly appeared. She approached her with a friendly smile.

“Are you awake, Miss? Did you sleep comfortably last night?”

Hanna nodded her head in agreement to the question as he gave an awkward smile, not knowing how to respond.

“Where am I right now? And what time is it?”

“It’s 7 o’clock in the morning, miss angel. By the way, you are currently in our lord’s castle, miss,” the young woman explained briefly. “Then introduce, my name is Danielle. From this moment on, I will be your personal assistant, Miss.”

Hanna rolled her eyes at Danielle’s words which made no sense to her. Hey, she was just a lowly citizen! How could she have an assistant?

“Why do you call me Miss Angel?” the question flew out of Hanna’s tiny lips. Danielle smiled slightly at that.

“It’s because you look so much like the angels I used to watch as a child, Miss.”

Hanna wanted to ask Danielle another question about her existence in this castle. However, she decided against it because suddenly a large black wolf entered the room currently occupied by Hanna.

The wolf had aquamarine eyes with fur that was a deep gray color. It stared intently at Hanna which made the girl scream out loud in fear.

“AAAAAA.... DANIELLE, PLEASE CHASE THE WOLF AWAY!” Hanna had to hide under the blanket for fear of it ambushing her. Hanna’s body shook violently as if shaken by an earthquake. Seeing her second mistress frightened like a kitten seeing a stranger, Danielle stared intently at the wolf in front of her.

“Sir, you scared Miss Angel with that form of yours,”

The wolf’s form changed into that of a man with a handsome face. The man’s nose was sharp like the result of plastic surgery. His eyebrows were as thick as if they were embroidered. His sharp eagle-like eyes were the color of the sky. A face with a firm cut and exotic tanned skin.

Don’t forget the thin sideburns that adorned the jawline that made the man look like a sugar daddy hungry for a woman’s caress. In addition, his tall and muscular posture makes this man suitable to be named the sexiest man in the world.

“I’m sorry, Danielle. I was so excited to meet her that I forgot to change my form first,” said the man as he chuckled softly laughing at his stupidity. Danielle rolled her eyes lazily at his reply.

“As you wish, young master,” Danielle said lazily. The bob-haired girl pointed at Hanna’s body, which was still wrapped in the blanket. “You made a bad impression on your first meeting. Therefore, I ask you to persuade Miss Angel.”

The man nodded in understanding. After that, he touched Hanna’s back with as gentle a gesture as possible, as if she were easily cracked glass. This made Hanna flinch at the caress of the hand on her back.

“Hey, get out of there. Don’t you want to say hello to the person who owns this castle?”

Danielle tapped her forehead at her boss’s behavior. She forgot that her boss was the weakest when it came to persuading someone, especially a woman.

Hearing a man’s voice from outside, Hanna threw off the blanket and turned her body toward the origin of the voice. Instantly, Hanna faced the man’s face. She had to admit that the man in front of her was as handsome as her favorite action movie actors.

“Who are you?” asked Hanna nervously while squeezing the hem of the nightgown she was wearing.

The young man smiled so sweetly that Hanna couldn’t take her eyes off him . The deep, intimate gaze and the alluring smile were the perfect combination to make Hanna look like a fool. Stunned, Hanna forgot that the young man in front of her was talking to her.

“Honey, are you okay?” the young man waved his hand in Hanna’s face. Hanna, who came out of her reverie, made a nervous face.

“A-ah I’m fine,”

Hanna blinked her eyes as she turned her face the other way in embarrassment for staring at the man with such a close look.

Her cheeks were flushed up to her ears which was in stark contrast to her milky-white skin color. Seeing Hanna’s reaction, the man smiled fondly. The tall youth pinched Hanna’s chubby cheeks which made the girl blush.

“You’re as cute as a little kitten,” The man praised as she put on her best smile.

“You asked my name earlier, didn’t you? Introducing, my name is Winter Cakradara, the owner of this castle as well as the leader in this area,”

“Oh, I so forgot to introduce myself. My name is Hanna Serenity. Nice to meet you, Winter,” Hanna flashed a sweet smile to make a good impression in this introduction. “But I seem to have heard the name Cakradara somewhere,”

“Oh, really? Where?” asked Winter enthusiastically.

“In the Northern part of the country. If I’m not mistaken, it’s called... Nevada Cakradara. Is he your familyyo

Winter smiled as she nodded her head at the girl’s statement. “That’s right, he is my family. To be more precise, she is my brother”

Hanna was surprised by the fact she had just heard. Hanna had no idea that the Cakradara family’s eldest son would be this handsome. If she was still at work, Hanna was sure that everyone would envy her for having managed to meet the notoriously mysterious man.

After that, Hanna circulated her irises to look for the wolf that had scared her earlier. Winter who understood what Hanna was looking for immediately smiled.

“You’re looking for that wolf, aren’t you?”

“How did you know?” asked Hanna in surprise.

“It was your face that told me,” this time it wasn’t a smile that Winter gave, but a spoiled and teasing wink that Winter gave Hanna. Hanna again turned her face in another direction so Winter wouldn’t see her reddened face.

“Please don’t keep teasing me, Winter,”

Hanna’s protest felt so beautiful in Winter’s ears, like the aroma of wine that made the young man feel both drunk and addicted. Ah, this woman in front of him was indeed very attractive and adorable at the same time.

“I can’t stop doing it, Hanna,” Winter argued in a soft tone that made Hanna unable to get angry.

“As for the wolf, can you keep it out of this place? I’m scared to see that wolf again, Winter,” Hanna asked, changing the topic so Winter wouldn’t tease her anymore. Unconsciously, Hanna moved her lips forward like a duckling. With such a pose, Hanna’s lips seemed to be calling Winter for a kiss.

Oh, Winter really liked the expression that Hanna showed him. The young man almost kissed Hanna if only Danielle didn’t clear her throat loudly. Danielle stared at Winter with a sharp gaze to keep the man from doing anything indecent to Hanna.

“Don’t worry, Hanna. That wolf won’t bite you. I guarantee it.”

“Why can you say in such a casual tone?” Hanna said in a confused yet worried tone. As tame as a wolf is, it is also a wild animal that has the instinct to attack if needed. So, how could Hanna not be worried and frightened?

“Because I’m the wolf, Hanna.”

The words Winter uttered took Hanna by surprise. The girl’s eyes rounded in amusement at the fact she had just heard. Winter was the wolf? How could that be?

“What do you mean?”

“Do you believe that I am not human, but a werewolf?”
