Masuk~Elvira~"Did Selene give you the key to this box?" I asked Aria, she was busy going through my wardrobe to find a clean cloth I would change into."No, she didn't, she just handed the box to me and asked me to specifically give it to you," she said, her voice muffled as she was still rummaging through my clothes…I turned my attention back to the metal box on the vanity, a mesmerizing, bluish-purple swirl danced faintly over its surface as the dying rays of the sun hit the top of the metal. "Strange!" I muttered under my breath, captivated by the ethereal display."What’s strange?" Aria asked, now coming forward from the open closet to where I was standing beside the vanity…She held out a simple tailored brown dress paired with a matching brown colored hose. "Here, you should definitely wear this, you will look great in it and it will kill Venessa’s arrogant pride even more to see you looking completely unbothered, beautifully put together while she faces her trial," she remarked
~Elvira~I collected the small metal box from Aria’s hand, feeling the intricate carving on it with my fingers as my mind drifted briefly toward the moments I spent with her. My thoughts stretched back to how she helped me, back when I tried almost strangling Venessa with my powers, she had helped me understand more of my mysterious power, guiding me through the terrifying surges of the energy that felt like live wires beneath my skin, though I am still ignorant about a lot of things regarding my own true nature, I would have still been completely left in the dark, a danger to myself and everyone around me, without her patient help. I looked up back from Silas to Aria; they were both staring at me with soft, expectant gazes, watching my reaction closely. Were they here because they think I would feel bad about Selene leaving, or are they secretly worried about Venesaa’s punishment."I already miss her," I said softly, my voice barely more than a whisper as I looked past their head
~Elvira~ “Did I hear that right?” Nelloa chimed in. “Why would Selene want to bring you information from a witch coven, Elvira?” she asked with a frown in her brow. I was completely thrown back by her question. We had been so wrapped up together in our discussion and my feelings towards her leaving Silverblade territory that I had forgotten Nelloa was beside me, and…thank you very much to werewolf genes…she was hearing what we had been saying. I needed to come up with something to tell her. “Umm, it's just… we are…” “It's about my powers, Nelloa,” I whispered quietly. “You know about my flare-ups, right?” I asked her. She nodded multiple times, more than necessary. “Well, Selene here has been helping me regulate and control it, but we still don't know anything about it,” I lied. “So she wants to help me find out what it is,” I said, nodding now to myself, in wonder if my line did sound logical at all. “Oh, I see…” she replied and went back to her food. I heaved a s
~Elvira ~ "How are you feeling today?" he asks as his thumb caresses a vein on my throat, his fingers gently gripped the side of my neck. "Feeling much better after the run and hot shower," I say, trying to steady my voice. He nods, his gaze fixed on me. He takes his hand to the knot on my towel and loosens it, dragging the white towel away, he throws it onto the chair right on top of the smaller towel he was just using to dry my hair. I stood naked in front of him, feeling completely bare under the weight of his stare as he raked his eyes over my body slowly, my breath hitched when his gaze landed on the faint claw marks from my wounds. I heard him growl, a dangerous sound as his eyes darkened with vicious anger. "I should have tortured those bastards more!” he rasped darkly "Whenever I see these marks tainting your skin, I feel angry all over again." "You already punished them," I replied I reach out to rub his arms warmly, trying to soothe the rigid tension in his muscle
“Vira? What are you doing out here? You should be resting,” Rhys says as he walks down towards me.“I'm just coming back from a run. I've been on my back for five days and nights, Rhys. It’s boring,” I explain. He looked so good, he was wearing a black hoodie and matching joggers. I bent over, placing my flat palms on my knees trying to catch my breath from the run. My lungs burned, demanding for air. He came to my side to help me up, and I lean slightly on him, letting his solid frame take some of my exhaustion.“Where are you going to?” I ask, wiping a bead of sweat from my forehead. This path we were on was a one-way path, down goes straight into the forest, while up leads directly to the pack mansion.“I wanted to stretch my legs a bit and let Raider, my wolf, out for a run,” he explains, his eyes scanning my tired face with genuine concern. He gently walks me closer to the pack mansion, guiding me by the elbow, and sits me down on a fallen log, then stands directly in fron
I could hear the distant beep of monitors from somewhere. Everything around me was pitch black and my body felt numb, like I was laying on clouds. Where am I? "Val?" I called to my wolf. "It's time to get up..time to get up," her voice sounded distant. I felt something cold touch my chest and, instinctively, I tried to push it off, my eyes opened as my vision blurred. "Elvira!" someone called. "Elvira!" I blinked again and, this time, I looked around as my vision cleared. I could see I was in a hospital, and Gabriel and the doctor were looking at me with a weird expression. I looked at my body. My hands were stretched out as if pushing something. I followed the direction of my hands, feeling an energy burning in my core, alive and renewed. Shit, did I push the doctor away? I retreated my hands. Gabriel came closer to me as if he were afraid I would do something off. I looked down on my body, feeling different, like I was in a new skin, a weird energy was flowing i
