I deliberately avoided eye contact with him as he spoke his presence making me feel uneasy" maybe it's because of the way he looked at me

He had no shame whatsoever"

I get the feeling that I'm boring you with my talks he said with a knowing smile" somehow it made me feel annoyed especially when I gave him a hint that I didn't want to be here

Well couldn't you tell I didn't want the tour I said coldly pushing my wheelchair besides him"

So that's the thanks I get for saving your ass he says with a dry chuckle"

From whatever you were about to die from" I could see you were about to burst Miss Rose" am I lying or what he said with a smirk on his face as if he had just done me some kind of favour" I hated it when people think I owe them something that's why I don't accept help"

If you haven't noticed I didn't need your heroism Mr Foster and my last name isn't Rose it's Blackrose I corrected him coldly even though I got the feeling he was intentionally saying it wrong to get on my last nerves"

I know I just like to shorten it, it's very long" he said yawning as if I was boring him" I had never felt this irritated by someone in my life especially by a stranger" how can someone so handsome be this annoying" I mean it didn't make any sense

Well that's not a good excuse" if you haven't heard it's very rude to shorten other people's names I said with a huff"

I get the feeling you're not the sunny type Miss Rose" he said with sarcasm smirking as he could see how annoyed I was that he was shortening my last name even though I had already expressed how I didn't like it" I think he was doing it to get on my nerves"

What's that supposed to mean I asked before I can hold myself" I realized later than I sounded bothered about what he thought about me" I'm not supposed to feel that way" ever, especially by something said by a stranger

It simply means you're rude he said looking at me straight in the eyes"

Excuse me I said raising my eye brows in disbelief" never had I ever been so offended" in one night I had managed to feel emotions I haven't felt in a long time" the man was annoying

You know what you can drop the damn tour I have lost the little interest I had on seeing your uncle's hotel said I looking at him with disdain

Well I don't want the damn tour anymore I shot back giving him an icy look"

I always keep my promises Rose" I promised you a tour and that's what I'm going to give you so stop wasting your breath and cold stares on me" you're not chasing me away "Valarie" he said placing his muscular arms on the sides of my wheelchair" I looked at him dumbfounded

What makes you think I'm trying to chase you away I said trying to keep my voice steady even though I felt intimidated by his cold blue eyes"

Come on Valarie you've been trying to get rid of me even since you layed eyes on me but there's one thing you don't know about me he said leaning closer" I gulped nervously feeling his hot breath against my face" he smelled so.. good but that's not the point he's the enemy

I froze flustered as he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear" I don't lose Valarie he whispered in a husky voice behind my ear sending cold shivers down my spine"

I looked at him feeling the intensity of his stare, I looked away feeling self-conscious and then nervously I pushed him away"

I'm not going to back off until I get what I want he said with a smirk looking at me as if he knew what he was doing to me" and I was not liking it, it made me feel like I was losing control

I hated not having control over a situation or other people it made me feel weak but now things were spiraling out of control" not only couldn't I control the person and situation but I was also losing control over myself" I couldn't afford to lose control" it is weak and insulting" I can't go back to being the person I was years ago" I can't!

What do you want I asked in an icy tone"

I want to talk business he said with his game face on"

Somehow it made me feel angry" maybe because I felt used" I guess I shouldn't have expected anything' he was no different, just like the rest" I felt like a fool how did I not see this coming" of course he wanted something or else why would he waste his precious time giving a tour to the disabled girl in a wheelchair"

I scoffed looking at him coldly"

Took you long enough to say it, but you finally came clean I said coldly my voice cutting through the air like a sharp knife, meant to sting

I hate to say it but it's your bad luck" I don't do business outside my office I said looking at him coldly"

For a moment I thought he wanted to apologize for his approach but then that was just my imagination, people will never change if they are not using me for their own benefit then they are betraying me" it's better to expect nothing of them than worse" that's why I don't trust" trust is for fools

I get the feeling that you don't like me one bit he said looking at me"

You're right and for the first time since we met you're saying something sensible I said with a calculated smile"

I don't think you get it Rose I'm not here to make you like me I want us to do business together he said sharply

I'm not interested I replied in one breath"

I think you're quick to judge especially when you haven't even heard my proposal yet he said looking at me as if he was looking his patience"

I don't care what you have to say Mr Foster I said looking at him coldly" mostly because I felt used" I don't like it when people lie to me" him lying just proves he's a bad person and to me first impressions are everything"

Miss Rose... he was about to say something when he was interrupted by the announcement on the stage"

Ladies and gentlemen let me start the evening with a toast said a woman around her fiftees on the stage as she raised her glass the air
