Chapter Eight

The stench of chemicals was becoming unbearable.

"I need to get out of this hospital". Crystal removed the tubes stuck in her arm. She was about to sneak out of the hospital room when something caught her eye.

She picked it up. Ryke had left his business card.

Did he really expect her to call him?

She threw it and it landed on the bed.

"On second thought, I need to call him and give him a little bit more words".

Crystal managed to make it out without anyone seeing her.
